Becca's Musings brings you into my world more often than just once a year. Join me as I share candid reflections on everyday life, personal challenges, and unexpected joys. What began as annual recaps has evolved into regular conversations where I process life's moments, both significant and subtle, as they happen. Listen in as I think out loud about what I'm learning, questioning, and experiencing in real time.

Becca’s Musings
Rebuilding, Receiving & the Fear of Good Things

In this first episode of the new season of Becca’s Musings, I reflect on the 18-month stretch that felt like everything stopped, a standstill that tested my faith, identity, and capacity to hope. I talk about the friends who held me down (literally — shoutout to my girl whose couch became my safe place), the unexpected fears that come with answered prayers, and the quiet, slow work of rebuilding a life you thought had fallen apart.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, scared of goodness, or pressured to “catch up,” this episode is for you.

I also share what this podcast used to be , a once-a-year reflection, and why I’m choosing to show up more regularly, more vulnerably, and more me.

Welcome to Season 1: Rebuilding. Let’s muse our way through it.

Musings in Review: 2023 Wrapped

A Recap of 2023: The Year That Broke My Heart

I originally recorded this episode at a low point, raw, heavy, and full of emotion. At the time, I felt it was too much, too vulnerable, and I unpublished it. But with some space and reflection, I’ve come to see that those feelings were real, and they matter.

2023 was a year that broke my heart in ways I didn’t expect. But even in the mess, there’s grace and for that, I still give glory to God. This is me, honoring the pain, the growth, and the process.

Thanks for listening, truly.
