Welcome back for another chilling episode of Beauty and the Screams!
This week, we discuss various hauntings that take place after fatal accidents that occurred involving modes of transportation.
Is there actually a phantom double-decker bus in London?
What about the Orphan Train!?
Is there actually a train crash that, when someone comes to aid, it somehow disappears?
As always, thank you for coming back!
We will see you next week!

Take a few minutes at the beginning of the episode to get caught up on some of the key components to why we've been away from you all for so long. We are sincerely sorry!
But the real reason you're all here - THIS WEEK IS ANOTHER DISCUSSION ABOUT SUPERSTITION!
Does the moon really have the ability to effect your moods? Do the crazies really come out when the moon is full?
And that dreaded hour of 3:00 AM, why does it get such a bad rep? Is there validity behind it actually being the "witching hour" or, "the devil's hour?"
Listen up and find out!!
Thank you all so much for your continued love and support. We will be back every week on Wednesday's at 8:00 PM CST!

This week is dedicated to one of Emily's all time favorite topics - Horror movies!
We decided to keep it light and fun this week, since we haven't been here for a while.
We discuss the eight major horror movie antagonists, their backgrounds, and what we find to be the most horrifying for each of them.
We rate these slasher antagonists individually.

On February 22nd, 2021, Beauty and the Screams suffered an astounding loss.
To show love to the man behind the machine, we decided to dedicate episode 54 to Robert Louis Coen.
There are many things that remind people of their grandparents, and the number of memories we have makes those reminders astronomical. Together, we sat down to decide on topics that we knew our grandfather would find as fascinating as we did - and we're here to share them with you.
The Golden Gate Bridge began construction in 1933, taking just a little more than four years to finish construction.
This beautiful man-made structure has quite a history - and we're here to tell you about it!
Robert was the poster-child for xenotransplantation. Jennifer goes through some of the oldest appendages ever created in history.
Thank you for listening, and accepting this glimpse into our lives.

In light of the upcoming Hallmark Holiday, we decided to give love, yet again, another twist.
This is all about Crimes of Passion.
Love can make you crazy, can't it?
Tracking devices, decapitation, severing of.... appendages.
These cases are perfect examples of the things some will do, and others will endure, in the name of love.

When you think of hauntings, we generally associate them with residential places, hospitals, cemeteries... But some hauntings aren't just designated to locations.
Discussing the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. From snakes, to rodents, to poltergeists, and mass numbers of suicides. There's quite a story behind the 8,000 acres of land.
James Dean had a desire for luxury that ended up being his downfall, the infamous Cursed Porsche.
Then, take a trip down the Mighty Mississippi on the Delta Queen!

Rivalries are such an interesting thing. We experience them in our lives more than we probably realize that we do.
It probably would have served some of these people well to remember, Everything is not a competition!
We cover the Hamilton-Burr Duel, where one of our founding father's and a vice president partake in a duel with a deadly outcome.
Then it's on to one of the greatest stories we've covered so far - The Glasgow Ice Cream Wars!
This episode is filled with a lot of laughs!

It has been entirely too long since we updated you all, and for that, we are extremely sorry!
Our episode this week is all about the Fae! In our youth, everyone loves the concept of a cute little pixie. To everything that's wonderful, there are also bad things as well.
We discuss the history of the Fae, along with the different types of fairies that exist, and their characteristics.
Not only that, but we tackle methods to invite a fairy into your garden or home, and maybe even be lucky enough to communicate with them.

With our newly found love for forensics, we decided to base an entire episode on Forensic Science.
What would an episode of Beauty and the Screams be without a segment of: A History Lesson with Jennifer!
If you're as into forensics as we are, we hope this episode was just as fun to listen to, as it was to create!
After learning about the history of forensics, we discuss the case of Helena Greenwood vs David Paul Frediani.

Poltergeists were the topic of discussion this time around! We've talked about ghosts, but we've never tackled this topic.
There are things that go bump in the night.
Did you feel a hand touch your shoulder?
Did the kitchen cabinet open on its own?
You may chalk it up to a draft, but what if it's something more sinister?

WE ARE BACK!
We decided that we would dedicate this episode to one of our favorite book and movie franchises of all time... HARRY FREAKIN' POTTER!
Through all the times that we have done research basing around mythology, there were some lights that went off in our heads that... there seems to be so much tied into the Harry Potter series that it couldn't just be happenstance, could it?
Decide for yourself!

In honor of the Mexican Holiday, we have decided to discuss Dia De Los Muertos - The Day of the Dead
It is a very common misconception that Dia De Los Muertos is Mexico's version of Halloween.
We are here to do our due diligence in letting you know the true history of this colorful holiday, along with some other eerie stories (because, what would we be without those?!)

Welcome to a spooktacular episode completely dedicated to Halloween!
Jennifer tells us all about the Ancient Celtic Festival of Samhain, and how a lot of their beliefs are still incorporated into todays eerie festivities.
How do our traditions compare?
It wouldn't be a true Halloween without some blood and guts (or mainly, just blood) as Emily discusses MURDER!
Not all monsters wear masks!
