Our “beauty IN the ‘burgh” this week is Alyx, Board Chair for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in Western PA. Trigger Warning: There is going to be discussions centered around suicide (nothing graphic or violent in nature), but what AFSP is doing for suicide prevention and to truly combat the taboos around mental health are the reason you need to stick around and take a listen. I wanted this chat to take center-stage so we all can get on board with how to better help those struggling around us. Thank you Alyx for what you’re doing with those in and around our area, but we do end our chat on a lighter note to nod to the self-care portion of our convo. It’s important to take time for what makes YOU happy.

For our first episode of February, we thought we would just sit down and chat about our favorite things: skincare and makeup!
