Thanks for all the support, memories, and another great NFL season!
The biggest game of the year is finally here!
On this episode, Asif and Nabeel cover everything from how we got here, who will win it all, and what's going to happen at halftime as well as key playmakers and strategies that will determine the outcome of this game.
This episode also covers recent NFL news and a quick debate on what may or may not be the greatest Super Bowl of all time?!
We hope you enjoy this episode and the game this weekend!

Super Bowl LVI is coming soon! On this episode, we talk about how we got here, what's ahead, and discuss the latest NFL head coaching updates (at the time of this recording).
Cheers!
The final three games of the NFL season are upon us! We discuss how we got here and what we think might happen in tomorrow's conference championship games.
Also, is this the end of Tom Brady's career?
And most importantly, Da Bears have a new GM... tune in to find out what the Falcons connection is!
Enjoy and we'll talk to y'all soon!
The drama of the NFL Playoffs is heating up with eight teams still in contention for the grand prize!
Tune in to hear what we think is going to happen, what the best game will be, and more.
Cheers!
Editor's note: Asif did not predict a pick-six (of course) in last week's championship game, and he didn't even really get the score right like he also allegedly claimed during last week's predictions. He's sorry about that.
The title of this episode says it all... Go Dawgs!
Listen to the end for analysis on every single NFL game this weekend, plus what's happening with Da Bears coaching search, and what the Falcons outlook going into the 2021-22 off-season with another (one) top 10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Cheers
On this week's episode, we celebrate the lives of John Madden and Dan Reeves.
Toward the end of the show, we discuss CFB Playoff National Championship game between Georgia and Alabama next Monday, Jan. 10.
Before that, we discuss the final week of the NFL season, which includes record-setting Robert Quinn and Da Bears facing the Minnesota Vikings after an underwhelming (yes, you read that right) win against the Giants in Week 17. After that we also discuss Falcons vs. Bills and an opportunity for Atlanta to spoil New Orleans's playoff hopes on Sunday in Week 18.
Please like, subscribe, share, and leave a comment if you haven't already! It helps us a lot and we sincerely appreciate it.
Cheers!
It's our last episode of 2021! We're doing something special for it too...
For starters, BOTH the Falcons and Bears won their games last weekend, which might be the tenth time in show history that's happened. Second, we talk about what's in store for each team's next game—Atlanta vs. Buffalo (yikes) and Bears vs. Giants (foreshadowing...!)—plus get into some Quinnception for both teams.
This episode was recorded on location at Variant Brewing in Roswell, GA. The occasion was Asif's farewell steak dinner (Brooklyn, we otw!) afterward.
RIP Robbie Roper
RIP Jeff Dickerson
RIP John Madden
Christmas is (almost) here! However, we're both awaiting the gift of a win this holiday season.
This week's episode covers the Falcons being dismantled by the 49ers in a de-facto Wild Card matchup and previews the potential embarrassment (or is it?) of a loss to the Lions at home this coming Sunday.
In the NFC North, the Bears (read: Matt Nagy) struggled mightily against the Vikings on Monday Night Football despite being competitive up until the point that they weren't. Next up for Chicago is Seattle, who is also struggling and has a lot to prove to itself and its fans in a 4:05 p.m. ET showdown in Week 16.
Elsewhere around the league, Bill Belichick is no longer a grinch, we get NFL football on Christmas Day, and the fantasy playoffs aren't going so well for Asif... unfortunately.
Cheers!
Christmas is almost here, as is the Falcons first playoff berth in a few years...hopefully!
On this week's episode, we talk about the significance of Atlanta's 4 p.m. kickoff against San Francisco (spoiler alert: Falcons can go from "in the hunt" to NFC Wild Card with a win) + what it'll take to ensure another Dirty Birds road win.
In the NFC North, a Monday Night Snoozefest awaits the nation as Da Bears host the Minnesota Vikings. Another primetime opportunity to grow and develop as QB1 awaits Justin Fields in that game. The possibility of ruining the Vikings potential playoff chances is an added bonus.
We also cover the surprising shootout that was Bears vs. Packers and the quality win Atlanta had against Carolina in Week 14 too.
This week's selection of beers cover a pilsner, DIPA, and stout. Check out our Instagram @bearsbirdsandbrews for photos and more.
Cheers!
We're back with another fresh episode for y'all!
This one covers how Da Bears are bad and how the Falcons are somehow worse. So what's next for both teams? Chicago plays Green Bay on SNF this week; the only thing worth looking forward to in that game is return of Justin Fields. Atlanta plays a division game on the road Sunday. A win could keep them alive in the playoff hunt, which will be an unpleasant disaster; a loss will have a lot of people questioning what has to happen next in terms of a rebuild, fire sale, etc.
Elsewhere, Nick Saban pulled a Nick Saban. Now, the Bulldogs have a chance to pull off what Alabama did with a switch at QB, but they'll have to get through Michigan first.
Happy holidays!
On this week's episode, both Nick Saban and Tom Brady are coming to town (Atlanta)! One is coming to play the Falcons, while the other is seeking another SEC Championship win against the Georgia Bulldogs.
Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins might be coming to Chicago to suit up against Da Bears, but we're talking about the game regardless!
Elsewhere, there's a college football coaching carousel in the works, and a potential MLB lockout happening soon...
Beer wise, we're drinking a landscape lager from Elsewhere Brewing in Grant Park, which is both delectable and crushable.
Cheers!
This week, we have the return of Nadir! To celebrate his return, we drink a plethora of beers from TrimTab, Martin House & Monday Night Brewing.
We also discuss the recent Bears and Falcons games, the fallout of both, and the potential firing of Matt Nagy.
Happy holidays!
This episode is a BONUS! On it, we speak to Liz Rhoades, M.S., who is the Founder and Principal of Spirit Safe Consulting, LLC.
We discuss the newest RTD (ready to drink) offering from WhistlePig Whiskey, which is the PiggyBack Barrel Aged Rye Smash. The canned cocktail is made with 100% estate rye from the WhistlePig farm and barrel aged, natural ingredients, like WhistlePig Whiskey. It's a killer potluck offering for the holiday season.
The three flavors are Blackberry Lemon Fizz, Session Citrus Mint, and Fresh Ginger Lime. It's currently available for purchase in the following states: Georgia, Missouri, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Many thanks to Liz, WhistlePig, and 5th Column PR for asking us to feature their product. We enjoyed it, and we think you will too!
Cheers!
Waddup! WE are BACK with a BRAND NEW episode.
This week's show is about the Cowboys manhandling the Falcons in Arlington, the Bears readying to play the Baltimore Ravens in Chicago this coming Sunday, and what's next for both teams.
Plus... a tie?? and Cam Newton is BACK.
#shoutout to TrimTab Brewing for the hookup on this week's brews! We appreciate the hospitality, support, and excellent product.
Cheers!
On this week's episode, we talk about the very questionable officiating in the Monday Night Football game between the Bears vs. Steelers and how it may have actually cost Chicago the game. On the bright side, Justin Fields may have played his best game yet. He and the rest of the Monsters of the Midway now have a week off.
As for the Falcons, one of the best weeks in Atlanta history continues with a huge victory over the arch rival New Orleans Saints. Looking forward, the Falcons travel to Arlington to play the Dallas Cowboys in a playoff-caliber matchup. To add to the drama, Dan Quinn will be facing off against his former players as the Cowboys defensive coordinator. It should be great!
Lastly, we discuss some fantasy football GEMS and dive into what gave Asif the regular season victory over Nabeel in their fantasy football matchup over the weekend.
*Please excuse the confusion around Asif's NFL scheduling comments. He promises not to take as strong of an edible before recording next time.
On this week's episode, the Atlanta Braves are World Series champs!
The second half of the show (~20 minutes in), we welcome back one of our favorite guests, Brad Spielberger from Pro Football Focus. We discuss a lot with him, such as the NFL Trade Deadline, future of Da Bears and their upcoming game against Pittsburgh on Monday Night Football, the state of the Falcons and what challenges they'll face against New Orleans on Sunday, Aaron Rodgers being immunized, and more.
*Apologies in advance for the technical difficulties on Nabeel's side. Fortunately we got through it okay and it feel that it adds character to the episode. :)
**Kinda sorry not sorry for the false finishes on Brad's interview. As a wrestling fan, Asif loves the term ("false finishes") and also wanted to keep it interesting right up until the very end.
Enjoy!
This week's episode starts and ends with Braves World Series talk... it's our time, Atlanta!
Elsewhere, we discuss a red hot Matt Ryan and back-to-back wins for the Dirty Birds. Also, what's up with Calvin Ridley?
For the Bears segment, we discuss the mess that is the Monsters of the Midway. Who's going to coach the team this weekend? Is Justin Fields okay? And what trades can Da Bears make before the NFL trade deadline that benefit both them and a potential suitor?
Cheers!
Let's go Braves!!!
This week's episode is packed!
We discuss Packers vs. Bears and Bears vs. Bucs, as well as Falcons vs. Dolphins this weekend. There's also talk about kombucha, fantasy football, and the Braves too.
Cheers!
This week's episode is a fun one! (Really all of them are, as you know...)
On it, we discuss the infamous Bears vs. Packers matchup: what's at stake, why Da Bears can win, and what needs to happen in order for that to happen.
As for the Falcons side, the Dirty Birds are back from across the pond with a W as part of their carry on! Kyle Pitts pulled out the tea cup for his first NFL touchdown celebration, Matt Ryan is playing like a hungry veteran, and next up is a beatable Dolphins team after this week(end)'s bye.
There's still plenty of Atlanta sports to discuss, though, as the Braves are celebrating Joctober in style—pearls and all. As of this recording, they're one win away from beating the Milwaukee Brewers and advancing to the NLCS again (hence, Wisconsin Hate Week), and this time for Braves fans, it feels more like business than it does good fortune.
Beers are from Humble Forager and Ology Brewing.
Cheers!
