Upon waking, it is critical you immediately write down all of the details of your dream before your senses take in stimuli from the external environment that can edit what you are able to recall. Noting the timing of when the dream takes place is also essential as you will know if it is something your brain is predicting more of or something it is nudging you to finally let go of.
