After a mysterious entity named Alpha 8 crash-lands on Earth, the NARB (National Anomaly Resolution Bureau) is thrown into turmoil, with lead researcher Michael and his team scrambling to determine if Alpha 8 is a friend or foe.
As he embarks on a daring mission to communicate with the alien, he uncovers secrets that could challenge the NARB's authority. However, Michael’s efforts are cut short when Alpha 8 escapes, and he is reprimanded for breaking protocol.
Meanwhile, back at home, the Peterson family faces upheaval when Alpha 8 assumes the role of Mom! Alpha 8’s attempts to blend into the family raise suspicions, particularly with Daniel, who notices something is off. As tensions mount new alliances form, and hidden threats emerge both at the NARB and back home.
