Every business venture, entity or organisation has a constant, they interface with customers or consumers of their product and/or service. This ranges from at least one person (the base minimum), to thousands, millions, and billions of people. With this is a potential or a pitfall. Word of mouth is a form of ad that is quite unique at least in the sense that its hard to recall because it wasn't necessarily deliberately started by the organisation. It's usually more at the discretion of the consumer. This also means that employees (who are points of contact) play a huge role in the perception that consumers of a product and/or service have. Its become imperative to train employees very regularly. I also see this episode as a call to be proactive on the part of the employee. You don't have to wait for your employer because of at least one thing, its your career & whatever you learn is your gain. Enjoy this episode!🙂

You know, I literally felt goosebumps while working on this. This is perhaps one of the most discouraging and depressing stories about an individual that I have ever come across. At some point, while I was reeling off the failures Lincoln experienced, I felt if he wanted to give up, I doubt anyone would have accused him of not trying enough. Sadly, any evidence that will help the police identify the culprit(s) has not been successful. I have seen more dogs in the past few weeks than I have in my entire lifetime, I mean clothed dogs😆. Pretty weird considering where I am coming from but adjustment does no harm right? King Frederick of Prussia (a defunct territory & location) said "Dog is man's best friend," in 1789. Certain characters set out this animal from a wide array of others. This episode takes me far east into the continent of Asia & its personality-based. Groups & People have often from time immemorial felt oppressed in some sort of way & consequentially have come up with ways to overcome such oppression to basically press home their demands. This is about a man who was a staunch advocate of the non-violent mode of resistance & he inspired movements for civil rights & freedom across the world. A Hindu by birth & called to bar at the age of 22 in June 1891. South Africans would also feel a sense of belonging here, because during the course of his life, the rainbow nation was his home for 21 years. Matter of fact, it was here he first employed that non-violent mode of resistance. Ever heard the name Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi? Well, Mahatma Gandhi? That's him. Its usually said that money makes the world go round. While it is widely retorted that money isn't everything (and I absolutely agree) but money will solve a lot problems. A lot of issues on this side of the divide is linked to inadequate finances. Again, not everything, but a lot. Better to have money than put yourself in a position where you'd have to be explaining. I like a scene from a movie that involves Aki & Pawpaw (Nigerians can relate😉 and you can take this as a quote), "Money stops nonsense!" Warren Buffet said "Do not save what is left after spending, instead, spend what is left after saving." There is a definite eureka moment in that statement. I have a secret, folks close to me should have an idea though; I fancy eating more than cooking🙈 (Folks in my camp, you are good?) Paul Prudhomme (a.k.a Gene Autry Prudhomme) who was an American celebrity chef, said "You don't need a silver fork to eat good food." He sure knew what he was talking about. Nutrition is necessary for health & growth & as such must be taken really seriously. For those who enjoy parties & you are Nigerian, some bit of hint, food is always plenty at landmark birthdays (50 years, 60 years, 75 years) and burials (if you know, you know!😆😉). Each & every single day, we walk on gold mines without even realizing several times. There are no new ideas in their entirety, what obtains most times are tweaks to what have been in existence. Richard Branson retorted that "Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming." You know, I like this. It means the chances of coming across an opportunity business-wise is pretty high. There are ways to recognize these opportunities & exploit them. That's what this episode of Baseline Bit is about. One area and aspect I know a lot of people take for granted, the importance of the routine of exercises. Exercises are bodily activities that enhance or maintain physical fitness & overall health as well as wellbeing. Think about the aiding of growth, improvement of strength, prevention of ageing, improvement of health, enjoyment & much more, then exercises are necessary. And really, exercises are not even rocket science. The typical activities we even engage in on a daily constitute some form of exercises. Like it or not, whether you pay attention or not into crafting a compelling brand, a brand is being crafted. A brand basically is the perception that comes to the mind of people when they think about your business or you. I can assure you, "accidental" brands are rarely fascinating. Loudly though, branding is about "feelings" and its a total package. The word brand refers to "the process of ranchers putting a mark on their cattle to identify their individual cows." These brands were used to identify the quality of the beef that comes from their cows. Research reveals that ranchers used this to navigate how they want their cows to "turn out" which led to price manipulation to some degree. Enjoy this episode🙂
