In my first ever zoom episode I interviewed hip hop artst Taiyamo Denku, who just performed at the Rockhouse on 8/7/2025 as a feature on the I-25 Cypher tour. Taiyamo gives us a run through of his whole career. We touch on his his musical journey from childhood beatboxing to releasing 46 albums while balancing his career with a day job and parenting responsibilities. Taiyamo shares insights about his touring experiences, collaborations with numerous artists including some who have since passed away, and his approach to promoting music in the current digital landscape dominated by platforms like TikTok. The conversation concludes with Taiyamo describing recent personal hardships, including severe flooding damage to his home that insurance won't cover. Be sure to hit his cash app and bandcamp store. Today I sat down with Rock for Ruidoso 2 promoters/organizers John Summerford aka Johnny Crash and Rockhouse Bartender, Krystal Lee Raven. They did this benefit last year for the wild fires, and they're doing it again this year for the floods. Bigger, better, and at The Rockhouse. I had very good chat with long time friends of the show Among The Living. We do a deep dive on their entire run as a band, so far. They talk the beginnings, getting the correct line up, shows, recording, signing a record deal, releasing their album, and now their post label independent journey; as well as the work on their sophomore album. This is legit one of the most fun interviews I've ever conducted.
Before night 2 of our Mistress of Reality double shot event, I sat down with Jason and Kristen Nix, the owners of The Rock It Rocket. This is an instrument store/repair shop/music venue in one, located in down town Alamogordo, NM. They partnered with Bart Man (Burning Sunday),Rockhouse, and myself to help make both of these shows happen. We talk about their backgrounds, how these events came together, and what we can expect in the very near future from the new music hub in Alamogordo.
This weekend we did a double shot event Friday at the Rockhousein El Paso, TX and Saturday in Alamogordo, NM at The Rock it Rocket. My guests were our headliners Mistress ofReality, The Word’s First All Female Tribute To Black Sabbath. They sat down with me in Alamogordo before their2nd performance. Paulette andthe girls talk about the formation and history of this band as well their AC/DCTribute, Herway To Hell. Paulette alsoowns a music school in Santa Monica called The Music Castle where they are allinstructors as well. This was a greattime with great people. I sat down with DJ Larry Loud right before the BAMC Showcast 420 Hip Hop Celebration. He was a much welcomed last minute addition to the line up. In this interview Larry talks about his back ground, growing up in a family of DJ's, serving in the United States Navy, and relocating to the Southwest where he's a radio, party, and show DJ. He just got off tour with Taiyamo Denku which is how we met. A very fun interview and hopefully the first of many collaborations.

I sat down with a good friend and coworker who I've known for many year. Pedro Devora is Marine Corps Veteran, Lead Firefighter, Artist, and Entrepreneur. He creates and sells original vinyl stickers, mugs, cups, t-shirts, and he's ventured into tattooing. He opens his shop, Wicked Ink 915 (located at 3621 N Zaragoza) next month. At the end of Soldier Con Day 2 I got to chat with Anna Zhuo. She talks about getting into art, then becoming a comic variant cover artist who didn't read comics.
