We can finally talk about TV show we alluded to in The PRODUCE: HER Session episode!!
Crime Scene Kitchen has finally started airing and we're chatting about what it was like to get cast and how we feel we've done in the first few episodes.
We're giving you a couple of behind the scenes looks, but no spoilers! All we can tell you is that baking on TV is absolutely no joke 😂
If you haven't started watching - get to it! After listening to this episode, of course.
Giving it a cutesy name will never change the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic was a tough time for everyone - including small business owners.
From flour shortages to lawsuits?! There was definitely more to the pandemic than most might think and we talk all about it!
As we approach 5 years since the COVID-19 pandemic was declared, we reflect on changes to our businesses, our industry, and our outlook on the future.
Also, as promised, Riley's company is as we said: DC Paralegals located in Cambridge, ON.
As always, we want to hear from you! Find us at bakesinaboxpod@gmail.com.

Some describe her as salty, but she really is quite sweet!
This episode is all about Lenore - from television! Both the “Len” and the “Jo” in LenJo Bakes, you'll get to know all about her worldwide work experience, what it’s like to have a 16 hour interview in a Michelin restaurant, and why kindness is most important overall.

While I (Lenore) may know her as a tall drink of water, you may not know her at all!
This episode is all about our girl, Jessica! Affectionately known as Jessie by those who love her the most (tee tee) you'll get to know all about her beginnings in baking, when she decided to start her business, and what her goals are as an entrepreneur.

In this bonus episode, we're giving you a behind-the-scenes look at exactly how we landed on our podcast jingle, intro, and closing.
You've already heard them in our first two posted episodes, but this leaves no blunder or blooper unheard! The good, the bad, and the ugly - we're here for it all!

In this bonus episode, it's our first time recording in our basement studio and we couldn't be more excited!
Of course it's our pleasure to take you along for the ride as we figure out mic gain, putting objects on the table without creating a ruckus and more.
Come along as we plan out the first season (and beyond) for the podcast and what we hope to accomplish - what's our vision and mission?!
As always, feel free to drop us a line or any questions to bakesinaboxpod@gmail.com!
In early 2024, we ventured to the Kitchener Public Library to attend a PRODUCE: HER winter open house with the intention to tour the Heffner Studios, record a demo podcast, and meet other women interested in music production and the recording arts.
This bonus episode is the result of that evening! You'll hear a lot of mistakes and we had to cut a lot out of the original recording, but it only gets better from here.
A huge thank you to the library for creating a space for us to create!
