The 14th installment of the Long Weekend Band Crawl had the boys posted up at our favourite spot, Room 47, and rocked as long as we could, once again closing the joint, and cleaning up after ourselves like good boys.
We've got conversations with Doghouse Rose, Crispy from Real Sickies, Stacy discussing her project Making Woman, and Kate Maclean's 3 time this year appearing at LWBC, who was playing a solo show this time around, after playing with her Stomp Records band PKEW PKEW PKEW in February, and rocking with Blue Freezie in August.
Keep your eyes peeled for part 2 with BA Johnston, BIRDHAND, BLACKOUT! and Odd Whale, coming to a podcast distribution network near you soon.

The pride of Cookstown, it's GUSSAPOLOOZA. The mashed up musicfest that's going to have a band for everyone in your family!
In their own words: "Gussapolooza Music & Arts Festival is a joyous gathering that celebrates the harmony of music, art, and community. Set in a welcoming, family-friendly environment, our festival offers a unique blend of artistic expression and cultural diversity. From live performances to interactive workshops, Gussapolooza is a place where families can connect, explore, and create lasting memories together."
This week, we get rock'n'soul rainbow haired rebel Sydney Riley (legal disclosure, her hair may have never been rainbow, though from her social media posts, there have been an assortment of vibrant colours, all that I am very envious of), the good ole boys in Small-Town Strip Club, and those psychedelic, heartfelt indie rockers Shoemaker Levee, who rock just as hard as they feel.

Last one, and we're wrapping up Warped On scene where we all got warped, all of us, right on the scene of WARPED ON SCENE, from AP RECORDS.
BeeGee, the man behind AP, smashed a huge rock and roll bash together and got as many killer bands as he could, across two venues, and whole lot of venders for a mid-summer classic in Niagara.
For the finale, we catch Iron Moose, Mickey Moon, Social Riot, and riiiiiight at the end, we sit down for an interview with Washout, that quickly turns into an episode with Washout and Ricky Mullen, And Washout and Ricky And Cody James McDusa and it got out of hand quickly.....

Another town-enveloping bangerfest from Fat Scheid and Pink Lemonade Records, it's LONG WEEKEND BANDCRAWL, LUCKY 13.
We posted up at Room 47 again, to witness Brutal Youth, Mvll Crimes, and Cross Dog. Jake and Mike managed to catch some of the other bands at the other venues (4 venues, with start times staggered so you can get into most of the action).
We get a sneaky little talk in with Jonny Mendoza (Jon Sohn), who was still cooking up his by-now released Go Kick Ass 3 compilation, with his label Cartridge Heart. As well, some pretty meaty sitdowns with Cross Dog and Mvll Crimes, who are not only killer-instinct level musicians, but passionate, determined, and thoughtful people as well.

A bizarre bazaar at the Punk Rock Flea Market, featuring performances with SEGA SATURN THE CONSOLE, CHASING SUNSHINE, and MY PAL BILL. In addition, there was art and decorations from all sorts of different punk/alt friendly themes, a tattoo booth, and all the clothing and records your collection could possibly need!
We snagged interviews with the first two bands, some familiar faces we have been chasing for interviews for awhile, and some new friends, all in different areas of supporting and promoting local art and expression!
