There have been recent accusations against Rose Montoya, who is the trans woman who was banned from the White House during Pride last year. These are all alleged, no one has been convicted of anything as of right now. I met Rose back in 2020, and I had her on my podcast. In this video I share my brief encounter with her. I am fearful as to what maybe coming down the line for those of us who are trans. We need better representation if we want to be supported and respected.
Initially, I was not going to upload this episode. I don't quite look my best here. The sun was in my eyes, I was hot after being outside for a while, and my bad hair day. But after rewatching it ten days later, I decided to share it anyway. I think that I made some good points in the video that could be beneficial to someone. Thank you for watching.

All of us who grew up during the 90s remember the OJ Simpson case, and the impact that it had on the world. In spite of his legal troubles, OJ Simpson lived an accomplished life. To this day I do not think that he committed murder. And if you think that he did, please explain why? Based on the evidence and his alibi he could have been involved, but was never proven guilty. Recently, at a Planet Fitness location in Fairbanks, Alaska, someone who identifies as a trans woman was confronted by a biological woman in the woman's locker room while shaving their facial hair. "Authentically Us" is back!! Recently there was an incident at the 2023 White House Pride Celebration involving Rose Montoya (a former guest), and two trans men. Even though all three of them are equally wrong, Rose is bearing the brunt of the criticism. This ultimately resulted in the three of them being banned from the White House. No arrest were made. Since the recording of this episode, Rose has blocked me on Tik Tok. It's unfortunate because I was never mean spirited toward her. I only wanted to help her be a better representative, and take accountability for her actions. Only because I cared enough. Happy Pride Month 2023!!
The topic of "The American Dream" has been on my mind for the last few years. Like a lot of people my age and younger, I have decided to opt out of "The American Dream." This does not mean that we have given up on working towards ours goals. Instead, we would rather spend our time working toward creating a life that is better suited for us and more in tune with what we desire.
My sincerest apologies for not releasing episodes in quite a while. My heart is still very much in doing Authentically Us. I have been preoccupied with launching my life coaching business with the same name during these last three months. This is part two of the episode that I did with Tracie Bailey earlier this year. Happy 2022! 2021 has been a challenging year for a lot of us. I recently lost my Aunt Clara Bell Moore, and I would like to dedicate this episode of "Authentically Us" to her.
My apologies for being absent from the show. I started recording this episode in late August of 2021. I had recently celebrated a milestone birthday, and I thought it would be fun to look back over my life. I will be sharing with you what life was like for me during the 1980s. There will be future episodes covering the 90s, 2000s, and the 2010s. Most likely they will the be released consecutively. Enjoy!
