Advent HOPE is a young adult Sabbath School of the Loma Linda University Church in which a group of young professionals and university students meet every Sabbath morning from 9:00 – 11:30 AM.HOPE stands for Helping Others Prepare for Eternity. We therefore seek, as young people, to gain experience in faith, leadership, teaching, preaching, deep study of the Word of God, and service to others.

Objectives:At the end of the presentation, the learner will be able to:Summarize key domains influencing spouse/partner satisfaction during medical training and early practice.Identify practical strategies for aligning medical missionary work and service with caring for one’s spouse and close relationships.Reflect on the role of grace-centered perspectives (“touched by His grace”) in strengthening couple resilience and shared purpose.Apply a structured case framework to analyze real-world scenarios bridging theory to practice.Evaluate feedback from experienced couples and prioritize two changes to implement in their own lives.
