138 - Pre-flight and other postponements. From my tiny room I bring you a quartet of Hong Kong poets with a mix of works in English and Canto. Three of them have a Canadian connection. Florence Ng and Nicole Lam are my fellow contributors to Canto Cutie Vol. 9. HK-Canadian poet 不清 presented his poetry at a recent concert (which I had to miss). HK storyteller 雄仔叔叔 once again reminded me to stay true to myself and to my work. Check out his new book.

131 - The excitement of having written a good piece fades rather fast for me. Less than the duration of a cigarette. We have footbridges, hats, and a moment in the karaoke place. We also have poems including 'The Love-Hat Relationship' by Aaron Belz and '愛情獨舞' by 潘國靈 Lawrence Pun, one of my favourite Hong Kong writers.
