This watercolour work is part of Blake's illustration collection for Dante's classic 14th Century epic poem 'Divine Comedy'. This week we celebrate the life, music and artwork of Joni Mitchell as the clocks move forwards and March swings to a close. For me, Joni is the embodiment of spring itself and on this special mothers day episode I dedicate this to my amazing mother who introduced me to Joni Mitchell. In this episode I focus on her painting 'Alixar Moonrise' 1979 and explore her music as well as her own ~eclectic~ music taste!

This Sunday was taken over by the works of photomontagist/ musician/ artistic 'Linder Sterling' with a synaesthetic playlist that indulges in The Pixies, PJ Harvey and (of course) Roxy Music so buckle up and slap on your PVC !

This week we transcend the north sea over to Scandinavia where we look at the arts and crafts artist 'Carl Larsson'. in particular we zoom into the painting 'Lisbeth' 1894 and discuss the arts and crafts movement within Sweden along side an eclectic synaesthetic playlist.

This week we delve into the world of installation art via the Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama. As well as discussing her "infinity Mirrors" installation we will be exploring the underbelly of the art world; outsider artists and the relationship between psychology and art.

This weeks episode explores the life of Moomin creator, Tove Jansson. I am joined with my friend, Liv, who is from Helsinki where Tove grew up. The focus of the show is two paintings by Tove; 'The Great Flood' 1945 and 'Smoking Girl' 1940. We aim to uncover Tove's inspiring life as well as her much overlooked painterly works, aside from her illustrations which she is most famous for. We go from Scandinavian culture and folklore to Tove's romantic life and beautiful works of art!

This weeks show focuses on the tin foil splattered world of Andy Warhol with a focus on his 1964 silkscreen flowers.
