Matthew holds degrees in landscape architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and from UMass Amherst. His distinguished academic record includes Certificates of Honor from the American Society of Landscape Architects at both institutions. Prior to starting his practice, he worked for Reed Hilderbrand, where he contributed to dozens of institutional and residential design projects that have been celebrated nationally. Born in Salisbury, England, Rob Hann is entirely self-taught, launching his career in 1993 with a commission to photograph Lydia Lunch for Lime Lizard magazine. This early opportunity paved the way for over 900 commissions from some of the most prominent magazines, newspapers, and record companies. Rob's portfolio includes portraits of a wide array of notable individuals such as Tom Hanks, David Byrne, Willem Dafoe, Chuck D, Steve Buscemi, Daft Punk, JG Ballard, Chloe Sevigny, Gilberto Gil, Paul Auster, Timothy Spall, Moby, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Moore, Ewan McGregor, Ray Liotta, Michael Stipe, Paulo Coelho, Mark Wahlberg, Paul Smith, and Gil Scott-Heron. Rob's work has been recognized by the National Portrait Gallery in London, where seven of his photographs are part of the permanent collection. After relocating to New York City in 2003, Rob shifted focus in 2010 to specialize in road trip photography across the United States. His photographs have been featured in several group exhibitions, and he held his first solo show at Christian Larsen gallery in Stockholm, Sweden, in November 2013. This was followed by his first solo museum exhibition at Nassjo Konsthall in Nassjo, Sweden, in June 2018.
