The Louisiana Team Trail is tops in the Bayou State in total payout of any bass tournament series and this past weekend found Craig & Taylor Kolb from West Monroe, La taking home the $5000 first place prize. Hear how they did it and more.
One of the hottest things in youth sports these days is High School Bass Fishing. Joey Bray came on to talk about that and how important it is in the lives of these young people
Questions. Everyone has them and most of the time, other people are wondering the same things that you are. Any teacher will tell you “There are no dumb questions” but that was before the days of Facebook. I get asked questions all the time and when I log into any social media account that I have, there that same question is on my screen.
With deer season approaching I get asked questions daily about set up, supplemental feeding, how to target bucks, and more. That last one still gets by me though lol!
So in this episode, I found a few questions on social media and gave my thoughts on them. You might not agree with what I say and that’s fine.
I also did a thing that we used to do with Bayou Bucks Magazine called “Idiots of The Outdoors” where we’d take a writeup about hammerheads that got in trouble with the LDWF, change the names, fabricate a story around the citations, and just have a laugh at their expense. While I didn’t fabricate anything about the illegal deer that was killed in August, I did have a few questions of my own!
And if you like this style podcast, drop me some questions on the Antlers & Hicks Facebook page and I’ll do another one when I get a few good ones that I can expound on…..just don’t ask how to kill monster deer because I’m still trying to figure that out myself!
In this episode I got with Mike Dampier and we discussed everything Wise Eye Trail Cams.....You'll love it!!!
Listen to how The Huckabay family grew a dream into a reality.
I caught up with Jake Ormond on Sunday and heard about this fish and it was a good little visit. Also, if you have a kid that likes to fish, you're going to want to listen to this because Jake actually just started a clinic where he teaches kids different levels of fishing skills. I know the record is cool but the coolest thing about this story is how he's out here teaching young people the lessons that he's learned.
