Predator is getting some franchise treatment as of late and as part of that this past summer we got Predator: Killer of Killers on Hulu! A semi-anthology series that links together into a very decisive direction that could revive the franchise in a brand new way bringing the future and the past of the franchise together in some stunning animation. It's Halloween! And we have a new classic re-release by studio LAIKA with ParaNorman. I went to check it out along with the brand new short cartoon "The Thrifting" an exclusive CG animated sequel short staring the titular characters of the 2012 movie. If you haven't let ParaNorman into your cult classics list run this one back and appreciate how good this story really is. Toon in now!

The brand new Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie has been breaking box offices and we get to talk about this week on Animation Destination. Despite some pacing issues this one is a real winner and I'll be interested to see it brought out in an episodic form next year. There's so much more to come in the next 4 years.

Vash the Stampede the $$60,000,000,000,000 Man, the humanoid typhoon might be one of my all time favorite characters in anime and we get to talk about him on this episode of the podcast. It's 2025 and there's a lot of discourse over the state of animation and I thought it was worth talking about it. The Day the Earth Blew Up has a very shaky history leading up to it's release earlier this year and it has lead to Ketchup Entertainment acquiring the rights to Coyote vs Acme. The previous year was filled with animation triumphs and animation mishaps. Let's talk about all of it as a whole and see where they state of animation truly is in 2025.

Pixar's Win or Lose is the first TV (or rather streaming) series from the studio and man do they hit it out of the park! Following the little league softball team The Pickles we see different perspectives from one week of events through the eyes and anxieties from different members of the team. It's a great concept and some of the most solid execution from a studio that, in my opinion has been losing a lot of it's magic. But they've got it back now and this one is a homerun!
