Has everyone seen that video of the 3 women in an Uber assaulting the driver for asking them to wear masks? I've seen the video dozens of times, but when I watched it again today, I had a revelation. Here's another argument for why it's dangerous to stay silent.
Despite the spike in hate crimes against us, Asian-Americans in my own network are still noticeably silent about the issue. I wrote this to ask my friends and family to reconsider their silence and its costs. This is my take on the dangers of Asian-Americans choosing to stay invisible.
