And What About It?
About Pride And Queering Alcohol

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH, OH MY DAYS! Today I am talking about a small part of what can constitute pride (month) as a queer person: nightclubs, alcohol and all that jazz. Of course pride is more than that; it's about resistance, education, learning about those who came before us and trying our best to make the world a better place for those coming after us. However, a big part of our community within and next to those elements is celebration and being together, which often times comes with drinks that are flowing. How can alcohol be queered?

And What About It?
About Feminist Killjoy And Being The Debbie Downer

Have you ever felt like the debbie downer at the family table all because you called someone out on their sexist bullshit? Or have you ever ruined an evening with friends by telling someone's boyfriend that he is being a prick? Then this episode's for you! Today I go through one of the most compelling writings I have ever read, Sara Ahmed's book 'The Feminist Killjoy Handbook'. With her work, Ahmed has put something into words I have felt for a while and goes into feeling like the humourless feminist, the nerves it costs to take on that role and the meaning of solidarity between feminist killjoys.
