Jedidiah Paschall hosts this conversation based around Elijah and Moses and the prophetic archetypes of the holy man and the wild man. This conversation will also be posted soon to the Grail Country channel. Click the link below to explore their content, I highly recommend it. It's a channel for all types of conversations, exploring many ideas, and often relating to mysterious and beautiful coincidences of christian mysticism. (Hopefully that was a decent description of the channel, but either way, check it out!) https://www.youtube.com/@grailcountry

Had a wonderful time talking to Fleetwood! He shares a bit of his story, how he grew up and what brought him to where he is today. We also talk about different aspects of spirituality, and the tarot! - we also go through a reading he generously did for me about my band. A look at a Hindu story on Parashurama.
"Abstract": Standard approaches to the problem of evil seem to treat good and bad events as objective and rank-ordered on an absolute scale. Intuitively, however, whether something is good or bad depends on what you value, and what you value in turn depends on what kind of person you are and the events that have shaped the course of your life. In desiring any significantly different existence, therefore, you risk wishing away the very circumstances that make it possible for you to appreciate whatever it is you are wishing for. Conversely, the best of all possible worlds--or at least the best possible past--has a way of being whatever actually happened, almost purely in virtue of the fact that it happened. These reflexive observations make the problem of evil--effectively the question of whether our circumstances bespeak divine providence or negligence--"inevaluable" as standardly posed. Such "inevaluability" is the key theme that this episode circles around. For it and other insights I am indebted to my friend Luke Thompson, to whom this episode is dedicated.

This episode is an attempt at doing a Christmas movie review. We never quite got the timing right where our schedules lined up. Probably because of the other gods. Anyway, I tried to splice together pieces of what we talked about.
The Green Knight is an amazing movie (-Christmas movie-), and I encourage anyone to watch it.

Craig Fay, Darragh Mason, Wae Wang and I attempt to explore the topic of beauty but get distracted by different side trails, although I believe it was still related, even if indirectly. It was a fun conversation and I really enjoyed it. I hope you do as well.
