Karlie Koval is a passionate mother, birth keeper, and advocate for sovereign birth and embodiment. Her work focuses on supporting women through the reproductive continuum: from conscious conception, the postpartum period, and well into established motherhood.
With a background in bodywork and embodied movement practices, Karlie believes in the innate wisdom of women's bodies and the unfolding of the birth process as a natural bodily function. She emphasizes the importance of intuition and a safe, nurturing space for women to birth like the mammals they are — freely and within their autonomy, outside the conventional medical model.
Her studies in the Radical Birth Keeper School and her own two significantly different birth experiences, including (free)birthing her daughter at home with only her husband present, have profoundly shaped her understanding and approach to birth work.
Karlie balances her professional pursuits with her role as a mother to her two children. She is deeply committed to fostering community and exploring the intersections of motherhood, embodiment, creativity, and matriarchal entrepreneurship. Karlie's philosophy centers on the belief that movement, presence, and beauty are essential to a fulfilling and connected life.
