New Life in Christ
John 3:16 is one of the most quoted and well-known verses in all the Bible. Its context is an intimate conversation between Jesus and a Pharisee named Nicodemus in which Jesus says that one must be “born again” to enter the kingdom of God. Together we will explore what Jesus meant when He said one must be “born again” along with its effect on us now and throughout eternity. --- Celebrating the sacraments is all about recognizing the work of Jesus in our lives through the gospel. Those being baptized are taking a significant step of faith by identifying with Jesus in baptism to express outwardly what has already taken place inwardly by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. By sharing communion together, we take time to remember what Jesus accomplished for us by grace in His death on the cross and through His resurrection.
