This week, Pastor Charles continued in depth on the topic of Faith as the booster for the Supernatural. He brought to light the difference in the testaments of the Bible.
In the Old Testament, the kind of faith Jesus was coming to enforce wasn’t at work yet, because the testator (Jesus) hadn’t died.
In the New Testament, when you have come to believe in Jesus, if you really understand the Christ in you, He becomes the embodiment of all the faith you will ever need. It is the God-kind of faith. It is always in you!

The supernatural is a system of advantage that God has given to us the believers because he knows that we live in a world that is controlled by forces of darkness.
Faith is a complete trust or confidence in someone or something. It is a deep conviction that God’s words are true and that God will perform what he has said
The supernatural exists and the Holy Spirit is the custodian of the supernatural. Faith can tap into the reality of the supernatural to make it your reality!

Minster Louis expounds on the second practical step in his first intimacy sermon on some five practical steps to being intimate with the Holy Spirit. The five steps, in summary, are: 1. Prioritizing the Holy Spirit and His needs; 2. Consecration to him; 3. Obedience to his voice; 4. Honouring him; and 5. Believing and having faith in him.
In this sermon, Minister Louis explores the concept of consecration and the systems to keep one consecrated to enjoy deeper encounters with the Holy Spirit. He describes consecration as the act of devoting and setting oneself apart for God. Consecration isn't complete with either one of the systems of consecration (devotion or setting oneself apart), but both. And prayer is not intimacy but a continuous relationship with God. On the journey to intimacy, we need to shed certain habits or patterns because one must be alight in order to ascend. He also discusses the benefits of intimacy, highlighting some: 1. It's a strategy for dealing with the flesh. God may be preparing us for certain responsibilities, and thus we need intimacy with him to identify weaknesses that would overwhelm us in the period of blessings and deal with them. 2. It helps us deal with our soul through the renewal of our soul's consciousness, the mind. thus helping us better with discernment. Romans 12:2.
Listen, be blessed, and share with your friends and colleagues!

In this sermon, Minister Louis expresses steps on how we can prepare ourselves for intimacy with the Holy Spirit. In order to come to a place of intimacy, there are some demands that the Spirit makes upon us to help foster that encounter and the continued relationship: 1. Genuine repentance and surrender from the heart: Here, we should turn to repentance in our hearts rather than our garments, like the Israelites, when asking for forgiveness. Psalm 51:17; 2. Sacrifices: Turning to him with sacrifices because there are levels of intimacy that one cannot reach if they are not ready to make sacrifices. The sacrifices are peculiar to each individual, but the most common are time and pleasure.
It is our hope that as you listen, you may be blessed and a burden is placed on your heart to deepen your walk with God through fellowship with His Spirit. Please, share!!

In this sermon, Minister Louis walks us through the intimacy of the Holy Spirit in three questions: 1. Who's the Holy Spirit, in essence, and what's his nature? 2. What is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the believer? 3. How do you really build intimacy with the Holy Spirit? From this, we learn that the Holy Spirit is a person, confirmed by scripture as a "He", regardless of the many forms he has taken over time in scripture. We also learn about his nature, which confirms his presence and attributes. In the second question, Min. Louis discusses the mission of the Holy Spirit as a person of the Trinity in our lives and how he helps our faith. And lastly, he touches on intimacy with him, expounding that "Men are made at the place of intimacy with the Spirit of God." We are admonished to build a relationship with him, similar to how we build personal relationships by giving time, energy and resources, but this time even deeper because he enables us to remain in the face and presence of the one (God) who truly loves us through our fellowship with him.
Please, we welcome you to open your hearts, listen, be blessed, and share. Amen!

This timely and powerful message urges us to pursue a deeper relationship with God. When God created Adam, they had such a relationship that God came to see Adam at their place of meeting, their place of intimacy. But after the sin, God didn't find him in this place. Sometimes we start a relationship with God, and then he comes to our place of meeting and, like Adam, doesn't find us there anymore. We have backtracked and lost intimacy, and thus we must make sure to pursue him from a place of love and not religion. Pastor Paul creates an analogy between this intimacy and the logic of romance. When we love, we give our time and resources to build intimacy; thus, we can also do this with God. God also wants a relationship with us, and he has extended the first offer of love by sending his only son to die so that we may be saved and come back to that intimacy he had with Adam.
As you listen, it is in hope that you go deeper and deeper and reconsecrate yourself to the one who loves you, because God is love!

In this sermon, Pst. Charles unravels the virtue of praise and encourages us to adopt it in our Christian lives! He shares the various Biblical instances of the power of praise, such as in Acts 16, when Paul and Silas were arrested. Also, he unravels praise as the secret of David's greatness and why he is called "a man after God's heart". Thus, "it is good to pray, but we must also know how to praise". As you listen to this message, the intention is that you adopt praise in your Christian lifestyle! Listen, share, and be blessed!
And shout out to Sister Victory again and her wonderful voice!
