Women were created from the rib of man to be beside him, not from his head to top him, nor from his feet to be trampled by him, but from under his arm to be protected by him, near to his heart to be loved by him.
- Mathew Henry
When it comes to relationships, I believe they thrive on one key foundation: respect.
Respect for one another, respect for oneself, and respect for personal space and boundaries.
But the moment these are taken for granted, the balance starts to shift.
The relationship becomes one-sided, surviving only on resilience and tolerance.
And when that tolerance reaches its limit... Snap!
No more strings attached.
The most alarming—and perhaps the most unacceptable—form of exploitation is when strength and power are abused.
Man was created stronger for a different reason.
But when that strength turns into a tool for dominance, control, or violence, we must ask ourselves:
How civilized are we, really?
Have we fully evolved from the animals we once were, or do remnants of those primal instincts still linger within us?
This week's episode centers around a story of physical abuse.
For some, it may feel all too familiar.
For others, it may hit close to home.
But the real question is: What are we doing about it?
Are we still weeping in silence, drowning our voices in the shower?
Or have we reached a place where we stand up, speak out, and refuse to be treated that way anymore?
