Hello & Welcome to yet another episode of A Talks after a long hiatus and it's sad to resume it with some bad news, but its happening because it had to be done. Rest In Peace Ustaad Zakir Hussain, you will always be in our hearts and we will always be thankful to you for your rhythms and melodies.
.
Apology: I recorded this episode on a very short notice and without much preperation, so the background noise could come across as a distraction, I sincerely apologise for any compromise in the quality of this presentation. .

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen
And welcome to another episode of A Talks where I take you along with me into some scary zone, I know it's the very first episode of the year and yet here I am with something scary and not very pleasant, but hear me out, I recorded this in December last year but just couldn't find the time to edit it and upload it, so now I thought why not start this year with something chilly bcz it also goes very well with the current vibe of chilly winters we are facing currently here in North India.
As some or most of you know Stephen King is one of my most favourite authors (barring some of his current work, which is downright boring & draggy), he always manages to grab my attention to his awesome storytelling prowess and I totally feel a part of that surrounding. Someone close to me suggested me to watch The Boogeyman movies but before that I wanted to read the story, so when I did I thoroughly enjoyed it, at that very moment I thought I should share it with you guys as well because great stories and narratives should be told and popularised so more and more people could enjoy them. In that process I recorded the story and decided to make it a part of A Talks so it remains here forever.
I play all the characters myself and some of you might know that my love for voiceovers and voice acting is profound, however that being said, I am in no way a "Pro" or full time voiceover person, but I can safely say that this hobby has so far kept me sane & alive, except the impact it has made on my bank account by way of making me spend so much on all sorts of gear (lol). But, nonetheless, if some of you or even one of you enjoys what I create and it brings a smile on your faces, I think the grind is worth it. So without wasting much more of your time, let's dive into today's storytelling episode.

Dear Wonderful Listeners

I hope you will enjoy this episode as much as I did while reading the book and then talking about it. I hope all of you are doing great and keeping well, I shall see you in the next one

Today I decided to record some of my views on a book that I read today, it was a mysteriously romantic book which kind of did not really live up to my expectations,
so while I just wanted to share my views with my discord buddies but then when I sat down to record it kind of came out to be podcast material, so I thought
why not share this on the podcast with all of you as well! Now I am not gonna say a lot about it in the show notes but I think this was really fun to do.
So without much further ado, let's jump in!

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen
I know it has been some time since there was an episode of A Talks, and it has indeed been a long hiatus but nothing to worry , I am now back! I am back & how! There have been some significant events in my life besides the fact that this Podcast is now 50 episodes old (which might not even be such a huge deal) but some other events have occurred which have led me to record this episode and bring it for all of you, all of you who have been a constant source of motivation, inspiration & guidance. This episode is about you and me, its from my heart to yours, thanking you for everything you have done in the form of your unparalleled support and never fading confidence in whatever I do, without you this was not possible.
In this episode I go through what happened over the past few months and years to what I think A Talks would sound or look like (metaphorically, considering it's an audio show) in the near future, it's present form to any future additions that I plan to make, I also talk about the other podcasts I do and what's in store for them.
I acknowledge the contributions made by various people in my podcasting and audio journey in general, my microphone obsession and the passion for talking, I haven't touched on voiceovers on purpose coz I wanna talk about that in a separate episode some other day.
In the end, you my wonderful listeners have all my heart and it's gratitude, I look forward to interacting with you and contributing to your lives in any which way I can, I have and I will always wish the best for you!
I will see you in the next one!!

I was listening to a bunch of people on twitter when this topic of Hindi as the national language of India was being discussed and the sheer misinformation and misinterpretation just had me in splits and at the same time I was pretty angry, so without writing a huge description I just want you people to listen to what I have to say in the matter and then decide for yourself what exactly has become of us as a society.

Sometimes we are so busy living our lives and being independent and fighting our own battles that we casually ignore what some people around us have to tell us, we just don't realise that we are committing mistakes that can cost us our life's valuable time and we can put ourselves in some serious jeopardy, we think that we are right and eventually end up making mistakes that we end up regretting for a lifetime. Based on true events, today's episode of A Talks is a mini version of the usual longer episodes that most of you are accustomed to hearing.
Some might complain that this could have been in English and could have reached more people, but I felt that choosing the right tone and language for something you want to convey can have a lasting impact, not only does it convey the true emotions but also hits the right chords with the intended audience, hence today's A Talks Mini was recorded in Hindi, for my English listeners I have included the gist of what I had to say in this episode in the foregoing paragraph.
This episode does not have an introduction nor a conclusion, it's more of a cliffhanger because life has no finality until it ends, infact those who believe in it, know that it never ends even after death, but that can be debatable and its best left alone for now, maybe we can discuss life after death in another episode of A Talks some other day.
This episode is also dedicated to all people out there who sometimes tell people that USB Microphones are not good enough for podcasting and if someone really wants to make progress while podcasting, they must upgrade to an xlr based setup, while that is not completely incorrect, its not completely true as well, infact what you are hearing in this very episode is a USB microphone, and that too a very old one, do you find it lacking in any means tonally or quality wise whatsoever? are you be able to guess by just listening to an episode about what microphone and more so what kind of connection was used with it for recording a particular episode? I certainly can't, but it's possible you may be able to do that, if you can , do let me know how you figured it out on my twitter handle which is mentioned below.
Wishing all of you my wonderful listeners all the good health and happiness in the world, remember, to err is human...but to learn from your mistakes is something that makes you a better human being. With that, I shall take your leave for today..until next time..

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen & Welcome to another episode of A Talks.
Beginning today, this podcast is not only gonna have talks from the heart but stories in my voice as well. Stories have a way to themselves, they capture so many feelings, they convey so many emotions, so many facets of life, so many facts, so many details and so much more. When I was deliberating to include stories in A Talks I was faced with the choice of creating a whole new podcast and doing the same therein, but then something told me that A Talks is the place where I could do this. Today I read a story by Molly Quinnell which takes you through life with its ups and downs, its beginnings and endings...its a beautiful story written really beautifully and the best part its not a thousand pages long, its short and yet tells you a story that is very meaningful and touches your heart. I sincerely hope this new addition to A Talks will come across as a pleasant change and not something that you wish was never added to this podcast, our usual talks will continue to flow as they used to and with more innovations, additions, changes, etc. A Talks will continue to bring something to your table. With that here is this new addition dedicated to all of you, my wonderful listeners.

At the outset wishing all my fellow Indians a very Happy Independence Day! Today we are independent, we are the world's largest democracy and we are proud of this wonderful nation of which we are all an integral part of. But today is also the day when we must think if we are truly independent, are we independent in our thoughts, are we independent in our conduct, are we truly free from all the shackles as we think we are, let's not just send patriotic messages on this one day and forget about it the next morning, Independence did not come easy, we had to pay a huge price for it, but do we even value it anymore? do we even know what the true meaning of independence is? the answer in most of the cases will be No! So today's episode of A Talks talks about the challenges, the changing times and what is ultimately expected of us to be truly independent in facing the challenges with which we are faced today.
Do Tune In!
