In these 6 episodes, we will be speaking with 6 members of the AlteredTCG community that are extremely familiar with one specific faction, and they will be helping us prepare for the Tumult Championships. Each episode will cover one faction, what each faction does best, what each faction should prepare for, and what archetypes exist for each Hero, as well as some common cards/decklist that you can expect to see from each hero!

Chile and Trickster had a great time talking about a lot of the value that can come from this game, and about how to potentially keep both collectors AND players happy. Funnily enough, we talked about what Equinox could do to help incentivize players to keep buying boxes, and they did that! We also talk about the early meta and how changes to cards definitely affect competitive innovation!

This week, we sit down with one of the phenomenal artists who has been making amazing alternate art tokens, Gnomeschool! And to be fair, the Grems were so jealous that they messed with the audio AND delay for this episode. We tried our best to fix what we could, but the Grems are sneaky and good at their chaotic shenanigans.
Gnomeschool is an extremely talented artist who works on some of the most detailed tokens for Altered TCG. We talked about his creative processes behind the artwork that he uses for his tokens, and the inspirations that he uses for certain artistic flair pieces that he puts into his tokens, like Ratatoskr! Not only do we talk about his art, but also some passion for the lore that he has and the future that the game has ahead of it! Welcome back to The Tumult Times, the most adventurous way to find out about the latest Altered news! In this episode, we'd like to welcome our return guest, Niveus! Niveus, who is the owner and organizer of the Utah/Idaho regional Discord server, helped us with a Learn to Play event at The Dragon's Keep in Orem, Utah!
This was a very fun event that we were able to help with, and we actually had a fairly decent turnout! However, this was also a great opportunity to learn about running Learn to Play events, and what we can do to help those events be more successful. We were able to look back and reflect on the event as a whole and we make some insights on what helps make these events become regular events. If you're interested in running Learn to Play events and how to turn those into regular Organized Play events, this "primer" might be for you!

Welcome back to Adventurer Spotlight, where we sit down and showcase amazing members of the Altered Community! This week, our episode is being held hostage by the face of Altered itself, Senior Community Builder Lokinox. We would request a negotiator.
Not only is Lokinox the face of the community and is an integral part of making the community a better, more inclusive space, he is also in a lot of marketing for Altered, and even has his own Boss card! From playmats to tokens, it's very hard to not see his face everywhere. But more than that, we were able to talk about the real passion that he has for the game, for the Team at Equinox, and for trying to make this as successful as possible. It was very heartwarming to hear the King of Chaos himself get philosophical with Altered and how much he believes in Altered and in the vision that Altered has for the future.

Welcome back to The Tumult Times, your kindest and smoothest way to find out about the latest Altered news! In this episode, we'd like to welcome our return guest, KelonGuy! KelonGuy was able to watch and help be a part of the streams for the World Championship Qualifiers, so he is here to offer some insights and report on the Lille tournament!
Not only are we talking about Lille, but we also are talking about the new set and hero that were released, as well as our theories of what is going to happen to the Expeditionary Corps moving forward!
One note that we would also like to make about the last segment is that we do not currently have all of the information on what happened at Lille during the quarter-finals and the semi-finals. But we hope that with talking about it, we can move forward in a way that is fair and that helps make this subject a lot clearer. we only hope to bring as much objective information as possible and what we think are possible outcomes, and maybe put a little of our own opinions on at the end. However, please remember to be kind to one another and always try to be understanding in difficult situations.
