As someone who struggles with math anxiety, I was pleasantly surprised to have come across this topic, and I hope that it's of benefit to you somehow!
Note: I've been made aware of two confusions, so I thought I'd clarify it here. So when you listen you'll hear me mention Group 1 and Group 2. These groups are both randomized, meaning that group one has both those with low-math anxiety and those with high-math anxiety(HMA); and the same goes for group 2. They are just divided to notice the effects of sitting versus writing.
Also, I made the mistake of mentioning my worry of them getting familiar with the test and that's because they were given a pre-test to give them an idea of what the format and the topics were about. This was actually intended to raise the anxiety of those with HMA, and I don't think it was enough to familiarize them with the test in the sense that it becomes easier for them.
