The Melty Man meets his maker as Clarence and Lewis make some hubcaps fly. Meanwhile in the other universe we've finally got to a pivotal key moment that should have happened twenty minutes ago.
We are also joined by Rick Ingham of Mad Max Minute who thankfully has only seen two minutes of the remake, but sadly tackles Waterworld two minutes at a time.
We are joined by Dr Stephden Platt of the Cinema Catch Up Club Podcast as we talk about Emil the Melting Man, Toxic Waste, and many tangents. Meanwhile Roboflag is finally catching up to the plot of the original film.
Murphy's marvelous use of a mirror deflects the attention of the Boddicker gang to get the higher ground. Meanwhile Lewis finally has a reason to be in the movie.
We're back bay-bee, as long as we don't get shot in the face... speaking of which. Lewis shows Murphy has to stay on target just in time for Boddicker's bunch to turn up with the heat. Meanwhile a bad robot battle happens... not that the robots are bad, the battle is bad... although I guess the robots are bad too... just forget about it, it's really easy to do.
Wait, if Murphy's targeting system is messed up then how did he manage to stack all those jars correctly? Meanwhile in the other universe space is warped and time is bendable..
Whilst Joe and Emil paint the town red(ish), Boddicker locates Robocop at the Old Mill... so they're going to get cider. Meanwhile Sellers is DTF a city.
Clarence and his crew carrying Cobra Assualt Cannons create some carnage and chaos. Meanwhile Norton ejects a dongle from Roboflag before rebooting him, sadly he's still as responsive at IE.
As the streets of Old Detriot turn into the streets of new DetRIOT, we say goodbye to future President of the United States and underage sex-pest Bixby Snyder (same thing really). Meanwhile in the other universe the movie remembered that things need to happen, only taking the entire length of the original movie before realising it.
The crushing weight of his reality comes down upon Murphy as Lewis tells him what happened to his family, leading him to need some time alone. Meanwhile two great actors take on one bad script as the power play between Norton and Sellers should have been in a better film.
Robocop, beaten and based, finally revealed the human inside the machine, as Lewis is there to witness just what OCP ultimately did to him. Meanwhile Sellers finally gets his wish, and with Roboflag comatose will there anyone there to stop his plan on total global control of the *checks notes* police force?
Due to some technical issues this week's episode will be delayed, so happy Pride month everyone with one of the funniest pieces of Rainbow Capitalism we've heard of.
In in the secretive secluded sanctuary of the steel mill Robocop sets about repairing himself as Lewis arrives with some much needed supplies, but will the Police going on strike lead to city wide chaos without the top cop on the beat? Meanwhile bored rooms and press conferences and annoying balls of twine, oh my!
A clandestine discussion between Clarence and Dick will lead to a cataclysmic disaster for the people of the crime-ridden Detroit, but only a circuit driven police officer stands in their way of their cruel design. Meanwhile Rorschach really knows how to turn Roboflag off, unfortunately we still have the rest of the movie to go.
In this minute we are introduced to the real power behind OCP... BARBARA!!! Plus we talk way too much about suits and fashion. Speaking of suits, Roboflag's flesh hand is still dumb and stupid and this minute shows why it is the most dumbest and stupidest design flaw for checking fingerprints.
This week on Media Break, two presidents get lasered by the American Peace Platform, and Goofy interviews a responsible person and a damn commie hippy about the threat of the Police strike. Meanwhile in the other universe... Hey! Who turned out the lights?
Cutting to a commercial break where bigger not necessary better, at least for your fuel consumption, and laugh at careless space lasers. Meanwhile we barely discuss Roboflag because... well have you seen the movie???
In this episode Robocop falls... repeatedly.. onto concrete... but our robot saviour gets saved himself as Lewis gives him some back up and helps him get... err back up. Meanwhile Roboflag is finally being a cop and a discussion about hubcaps.
Robocop finishes his descent after surviving his encounter with ED-209, but will the crocked cops at the bottom be his ultimate downfall? Meanwhile our hosts also descend into hysteria as they talk about anything other than Roboflag.
All hail the Colonel, our lord and saviour, as we definitely don't have any subversive talk about how corporations ruin things as good as Robocop, none whatsoever.
A clearly overpowered Robocop makes a desperate bid to deescalate the situation, but with a petulant ED-209 follow him to his downfall? Meanwhile Roboflag magically undoes his programming... yeap that happened.
