Deep Dive with Misk 2030 Leaders – A conversation with Hebah Zamzami
Deep Dive with Misk 2030 Leaders | JEDDAH – Rebuilding from hardship, leading with heart
In this heartfelt episode of Deep Dive with Misk 2030 Leaders, we sit down with Hebah Zamzami—a resilient leader, entrepreneur, mother, and brand strategist whose story proves that growth often begins where comfort ends. From launching her own food startup to navigating personal loss, Hebah's journey is a powerful reflection of what it means to lead through change, compassion, and courage.
From survival to reinvention
Hebah’s path was shaped early on by profound personal loss—the sudden death of her father at age nine. It was a moment that propelled her from being a sheltered child to a young woman determined to build her own life. Her story took her across sectors and cities: from dropping out of college to nearly launching a business, from a scholarship to the U.S. to working in IT and banking in Saudi Arabia, and ultimately to founding her own food company, BT Express.
Despite early success, her company was forced to shut down during the 2018 economic crisis. That chapter tested her limits but taught her what resilience truly means. Hebah then pursued her MBA and made a seamless shift into the world of digital marketing, education, and brand management. Today, she leads brand strategy for Goody Kitchen and continues to empower others through her coaching practice and life experiences.
Inside the episode
Hebah opens up about the real cost of entrepreneurship—the silent struggles, investor pressures, and personal sacrifices that come with the dream. She shares her experience of navigating divorce and single motherhood while building a new life from scratch. With grace and humility, she reflects on the importance of asking better questions, embracing vulnerability, and finding meaning even in the messiest moments.
From launching a product line into major Saudi supermarkets to teaching at General Assembly to rediscovering herself post-pandemic—Hebah shows us that reinvention is not just possible, it’s essential.
