This is a 1001 dents. A podcast where we interview Apple Distinguished Educators from around the world about the impact that they are making in the classroom. Apple Distinguished Educators (or ADEs) pioneer new ways to engage students and improve learning outcomes through technology. Every ADE event starts with the statement, “We're here to make a dent in the universe, why else be here?" So in this podcast, we will take a closer look at those dents. From harnessing cutting-edge technology to crafting immersive learning experiences, our guests share their trials, triumphs, and the invaluable lessons they've learned along the way.

In this first series, we will listen to a collection of showcases that were given at the ADE Institute in the summer of 2023. A showcase is a three-minute talk on their best practice. After those three minutes, the lights go off, the microphone is muted, and that's it.

No time for errors, further explanations, or detours. It's one of the scariest talks I have ever given, but these stories of impact are always the highlight of the event.

But 3 minutes is incredibly short and always leaves us wanting more. So we will dive deeper into the stories behind the showcases with interviews with the ADEs to see the remarkable ways in which they are making an impact in the world of education.
