~ Beach, river, or pool? ~
秋川渓谷に行ったとき、子供の頃よく川に行って遊んだのを思い出しました。
夏になると、近所の川に友達と行ったり、兄と行ったりしたのですが、
今考えると、よく子供だけで遊びに行っていたなと思います。（危ないですね笑）
今は、泳げるくらいきれいな川は少なくなってしまいました。
皆さんは海・川・プールの中でどれが一番好きですか？
あきかわ けいこくに いったとき、こどものころ よく かわに いって
あそんだのを おもいだしました。
なつに なると、きんじょの かわに ともだちと いったり、
あにと いったりしたのですが、
いま かんがえると、よく こどもだけで あそびに いっていたなと
おもいます。（あぶないですね（わらい））
いまは、およげるくらい きれいな かわは すくなくなってしまいました。
みなさんは うみ・かわ・ぷーるのなかで どれが いちばん すきですか？
When I visited the Akigawa keikoku Valley,
it reminded me of how often I used to go play in the river as a child.
In summer, I'd go to the nearby river with friends or with my older brothers.
Thinking about it now, I'm surprised we used to go play there all by ourselves.
(Pretty dangerous lol)
These days, there are fewer rivers clean enough to swim in.

※とき
/ when
※ころ and とき mean like“when”, but the difference is,
とき→ specific time
ころ→ more vague than とき
① When the time range is wide and vague,
there’s any difference between them in terms of meaning.
○ 子供のとき、川で泳ぐのが好きでした。
○ 子供の頃、川で泳ぐのが好きでした。
（こどもの とき/ ころ、かわで およぐのが すきでした。）
/ When I was a child, I liked swimming in the river.
②For more specific time, we use とき.
○日本では家に入るとき、靴を脱ぎます。
（×家に入るころ）
（にほんでは いえに はいるとき、くつを ぬぎます。）
/ In Japan, we take off our shoes when we go in a house.
○料理をするとき、いつもこのエプロンをつけます。
（×料理をするころ）
（りょうりを するとき、いつも この えぷろんを つけます。）
/ When I cook, I always wear this apron.
