2023年將是治警事件一百週年，這是臺灣走向自治之路的重要一環。臺灣新文化運動紀念館在今年，以戲劇創作來回望這段歷史，透過舉辦系列劇本創作徵件活動、工作坊與媒合專業人士陪伴發展，將於11月27日舉辦「治警事件百年紀念劇本創作讀劇會」。讀劇會將由「嚎哮排演」、「鐵支路邊創作體」以及「蔡格爾」三組團隊，帶來三個劇本，在11月27日週日的晚上作品輪番上演，透過創作者的多元視角，帶大家一同夜遊臺灣新文化運動紀念館，重新認識這一段過往故事。
