1972年12月10日下午開示
在金山寺這個冰箱裏頭念佛，已經念了三天了。有人說：「真苦啊，苦得要命！」我說：「苦得要命？你就不要命了嘛！要命幹甚麼？不要命，把命丟了它！」這叫「捨不了死，就換不了生；捨不了假，就成不了真」，你要是世間享受充足，出世法你就沒有份；你要是想得到出世的妙法，返本還原，那你世間法就要看輕一點，不要把它看得那麼重。
