With our extra special guest, drag queen and activist Madamme Bonjour Johnj, we discuss how to to discuss topics around sexuality and gender with children. Madamme Bonjour Johnj who has her new children's book out called Hug Taiso (Hug Exercise) shares with us her experience working at an after-school daycare as well as a drag queen reading to children, and how we can approach these topics in a friendly and open ended way that leaves room for discussion. Kid's tend to be curious and ask questions that sometimes even adults don't have the answers to. Why is your hair short if you're a girl? What is gender-neutral?
