先日Bambu Labから新しい機種P2Sが発表、既に販売が開始されました。めっちゃ安い（約15万）。製品開発を行う中で3Dプリンターの導入を検討しているのですが、期待していた機能の殆どが入ったスペックでした。
第一候補だったA1比べると高価になるけど、諸々考えるとP2S一択なんだよな…。少し様子を見て購入しようかな。

Bambu Lab just announced and released their new model, the P2S—and it’s already available!
The price? Surprisingly affordable—around ¥150,000.
I’ve been thinking about getting a 3D printer for product development, and this one basically checks all the boxes I was hoping for.
It’s definitely more expensive than my original first choice, the A1,
but when I think about everything it offers… honestly, the P2S feels like the only real option.
I might wait a bit and see how it performs before pulling the trigger.

9月半ばから10月頭で2回ライブに行ってきました。推しのグループCANDY TUNEが10月1日から全国ツアーが始まり、ZeepYokohamaたで行きましたが新曲含めためっちゃ良かったです。ツアーファイナルの東京ガーデンシアターも楽しみ。また、King Gnuのライブツアーの詳細も出ましたね。千葉と東京狙って当てたいと思います。ドームじゃないから箱小さくて当たるか心配…。

I went to two concerts between mid-September and early October!
My favorite group, CANDY TUNE, kicked off their national tour on October 1st, and I caught their show at Zepp Yokohama—it was amazing, especially with the new songs!
I’m already looking forward to the tour finale at Tokyo Garden Theater.
Also, the details for King Gnu’s upcoming tour have been announced!
I’m hoping to get tickets for the Chiba or Tokyo shows.
Since they’re not performing in domes this time and the venues are smaller, I’m a bit nervous about whether I’ll even win a ticket…

The weather’s finally cooled down, and I’ve been away for about two weeks—partly because of errands and partly just from having nothing to talk about.

We’ve had some sudden thunderstorms lately, but it finally feels like the intense summer heat is fading—and autumn is just around the corner.
During the summer, it’s honestly too hot for my usual slow-paced shooting style where I wander around looking for subjects.
But in another week or two, the weather should settle down, and I’ll hopefully be able to enjoy shooting at a more relaxed pace again.

It’s been about a week since my last post—between having things to do and running out of ideas, I kind of fell behind.
And of course, when I finally sat down to record again, a thunderstorm rolled in right as I hit “record,” so there’s a bit more noise than usual… sorry about that.
That said, Apple’s latest event took place recently, and—as always—I tuned in with excitement.
I think it’s been over 10 years now that I’ve been watching their fall events.

少し前から保育士免許が欲しいなと思っていたのですが、いよいよ本格的に勉強を始めました。来年度の前期合格を目指して地道に進めていきます。仕事でも将来的に諸々やりたい事があるので、ここ数年は土台作りですかね。ポッドキャストは勉強の息抜きになるので、もちろん続けていきます。一発合格の確率大体15%前後くらいっぽいです。仕事や制作しながらいけるのかどうか…。

I’ve been thinking about getting a childcare license for a while now, and I finally decided to start studying seriously.
My goal is to pass the first half of the exam next year, so I’ll be chipping away at it little by little.
There are a few things I’d like to do in the future work-wise, so I guess these next few years are all about building a solid foundation.
The podcast will still be going, of course—it’s the perfect break from studying.
I’ve heard the pass rate for first-time test takers is around 15%, so… we’ll see how it goes while juggling work and creative projects.

8/23(土)に東京都立産業貿易センター浜松町館で開催されたZINE FEST 写真に参加してきました。久しぶりの参加でしたが、友人との出展や何度か購入し合っている作家さん、リピーターになってくれている方々始め、多くの方にご来店いただきました。まずは、皆さんありがとうございました。今回のイベントで一区切りついたのもあり、今後は緩やかに制作を進めていけたらなと思います。販売自体は売り切れてしまったZINEが出たり、ポストカードが人気だったりと嬉しい反応をいただきました。特に透かして見るZINEは、売り切れの「UNNATURAL 」、「echoes」の増刷と新作の制作を検討しているので楽しみにしていてください。

I took part in ZINE FEST Photograph on August 23rd at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center in Hamamatsuchō.
It was my first time joining in a while, but I got to exhibit alongside friends, catch up with fellow creators I’ve swapped ZINEs with before, and chat with returning visitors who’ve supported me in the past.
To everyone who stopped by—thank you so much!
This event felt like a nice little milestone, so from here on, I’m planning to take things a bit slower with production.
That said, I was really happy with the response—some ZINEs sold out, and the postcards were surprisingly popular!
Especially the “see-through” style ZINEs—UNNATURAL and echoes—both sold out, so I’m planning to reprint them and maybe even make a new one. Stay tuned!
Also—these in-person events are seriously fun.

Lately I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed—lots going on and not much room to breathe.
Work is one thing, but I’m also scrambling to get ready for ZINE FEST Shashin, happening this Saturday at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center in Hamamatsuchō.
I’ll be at booth A-6, in the back left corner near the entrance.
Based on past events, that spot doesn’t usually get much traffic early on, so… I’m bracing myself.

Do you still use mechanical pencils now that you’re an adult?
I used them all the time back in school, but these days it’s mostly ballpoint pens or FriXion pens for me.
I was browsing recently and found that the Staedtler 925-25 looks and feels pretty nice.

メイン機として使用しているSIGNA fpとその兄弟機fp Lが公式より生産完了のお知らせがありました。独特なフォルムや癖のある使い心地など、完全に人を選ぶカメラですが、生産完了ともなると寂しいですね。後継機はBFに置き換わったのか、それとも新型が出るのか。どちらにしても、私は持っているfpをまだまだ使い倒します。

SIGMA officially announced the end of production for the fp and its sibling, the fp L—both of which I’ve been using as my main cameras.
They definitely have a unique shape and quirky handling that isn’t for everyone… but still, hearing that production’s ending feels kind of bittersweet.
Maybe the new BF series is meant to replace them? Or maybe a new model is coming?
Either way, I’ll be sticking with my trusty fp and using it to the fullest.

やっと映画「国宝」を観てきました。邦画はあまり観ない私ですが、あの映画は観た方がいいです。しかも、映画館で観るべき作品です。見終わった後の、ゾクゾクした感覚は数日間続き、2度3度観ても楽しめる作品だと感じました。自分の語彙力がもっとあればネタバレせずに話せるのに…。確実に近年最高峰の映画のひとつです。

I finally went to see the movie Kokuhō (National Treasure).
I don’t usually watch Japanese films, but this one is a must-see—especially in a theater.
That lingering, spine-tingling feeling I had after watching it stayed with me for days.
It’s definitely a film you can enjoy multiple times.
If only I had better vocabulary, I could talk about it without spoiling anything…
But honestly, it’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in recent years.

話は変わるんですけど、最近運がいいんですよ。つい先日、帰宅途中に鳥のフンを喰らいました。しかも素手に。それからというものの「運」気が上昇している気がします。過去にも同じことがあり、その時は実家に新しく犬が来た当日に抱っこしていてフンをされました。その１年間は結構良いことが多く、プラシーボかもしれないけど不幸中の幸いとなっています。
あまり信仰心とか気とかに興味ないですけど、都合のいい時だけ取り入れていこうかなって思います。

Changing the subject a bit… I’ve been kind of lucky lately.
Just the other day, I got pooped on by a bird on my way home.
And not just anywhere—on my bare hand.
Oddly enough, things have been going pretty well ever since.
Actually, the same thing happened years ago.
Back then, the day our family got a new dog, it pooped on me while I was holding it—and that year turned out to be full of good things.
So maybe it’s just a placebo, but honestly, it feels like a little stroke of luck wrapped in misfortune.
I’m not really into superstitions or spiritual vibes, but I might start borrowing those ideas when it suits me.

Whenever an interesting new product gets announced—whether I end up buying it or not—I can’t help but feel a little excited.
It’s the same feeling I talked about in this episode with cameras, and honestly, I get that same buzz every year during Apple’s keynote events, too.
Truly groundbreaking, era-defining products probably only come around once every ten years or so…
But still, there’s something romantic about new models and fresh releases.
Is it just me?

言語化ってとても難しいのですが何故なんでしょう？噛み合わなかったり、ニュアンスが伝わらなかったり。。。「〇〇の言語化！」や「会話が上手くなる方法とは？」みたいな書籍はありますが、書いてあることは大体同じでピンッと、くるものは少ないんですよ。オススメの練習方法や参考書籍を知っていたらメールしてください。今回は、写真集（アート系）っていいですよーって内容です。

Putting things into words is really hard sometimes—don’t you think?
Conversations don’t always click, and the nuance just doesn’t land…
There are tons of books out there with titles like “How to Articulate Your Thoughts” or “Master the Art of Conversation”, but honestly, they often say the same things and rarely hit the mark for me.

7月5日、6日と連続でライブに行ってきました。5日はCUTIE STREETSの単独、6日はKAWAII LAB. SESSIONで盛り上がり、非常に楽しかったです！自分よりも若い人が多くて、ひとり参戦で少し緊張しましたが、会場はエネルギーMAXでした。
後半に、カリンバを購入した話をしています。悩んだ挙句、完全見た目で購入しましたが、とても満足できるカリンバが届きました。まだ練習を始めて数日ですが、なんとも言えない音色を聴きながら楽しんでいます。いつかアップテンポの曲も弾けるようになるといいな…っと思いつつ、気楽にやっています。

I went to back-to-back concerts on July 5th and 6th.
On the 5th, it was a solo show by CUTIE STREETS, and on the 6th, KAWAII LAB. SESSION.
Both were so much fun!
Most of the crowd was younger than me, and I went solo, so I was a bit nervous…
But the energy in the venues was off the charts!
In the second half of this episode, I talk about buying a kalimba.
After a lot of back and forth, I ended up choosing one purely based on looks—and honestly, I’m really happy with it.
It just arrived, and I’ve only been practicing for a few days, but I’m already loving the unique, soothing tones.
Hopefully, one day I’ll be able to play some upbeat songs too… but for now, I’m just taking it easy and enjoying the process.

楽器屋さんとか普段行かないですけど、ふらっと入ったら偶然見つけたカリンバの音に魅了されてしまいました。掌サイズなのに何であんなに良い音が出るんですかね？不思議。
カリンバも種類が色々とあるので、今度本格的に探しにいこうかと思います。音色もそうだけど、見た目も大事。
購入して弾けるようになったら、BGMの代わりにでもしようかな。
収録して、公開するまでにある程度時間がかかるので、梅雨明けとかしているといいです。

I don’t usually go to instrument shops, but I happened to wander into one and was completely captivated by the sound of a kalimba I stumbled across.
How does something that fits in the palm of your hand make such a beautiful sound? It’s kind of a mystery.
There are actually a lot of different types of kalimbas, so I’m thinking of seriously looking into them next time.
Of course the sound matters—but let’s be honest, the look is important too.
If I end up buying one and learning to play, I might even use it as background music someday.
It usually takes a little time between recording and uploading, so I hope the rainy season’s over by the time this goes live.
