While our culture is experiencing a crisis of identity, God has already defined who we are in Christ. If you are in Christ, whom He said you are is all true for you. There is no identity we could build for ourselves that can come close to matching the one Christ offers us. 1 John 3:1-2
1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.
At all times, we must learn to forget the past and forge ahead. If we fail to let go of the past, it is very difficult to move forward. What are you going through and what are you holding onto? This is what God is saying; Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
