In recent times, Miami has experienced a unique kind of street art explosion. The talented yarn bombing artist, La Fibraa, is behind this captivating phenomenon, and her creations are truly impossible to overlook.

Her crocheted creations resemble triumphant, multicolored textile graffiti adorned with 3-5-3 haikus stitched onto them.

"My journey with fiber started in High School when I studied fashion at DASH," the local Miamian shares. For her, the key aspect was the message. "I aimed to push the limits of what could be achieved. What was lacking was inspiration: what message did I wish to convey through these works, and how would I express that message?"

"I decided to include haikus, a traditional form of Japanese poetry, to communicate a message about love, its many forms, and how it appears in life and the world around us."

Alexandra Seda, aka Miss Lushy, is a muralist, sign artist, graphic designer, and mixed media illustrator, makingher a colorful art influence in Miami with a keen eye for detail.

Raised in Miami, she became fascinated by the city’s livelyhip hop culture and the emerging urban art scene. Her profound love for street art grew from admiration to active engagement, as she progressed from smaller canvases to large murals, using the city as her canvas.

Miss Lushy refined her abilities at Miami InternationalUniversity of Art & Design, where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. This educational experience allowed her to merge her passion for music and vibrant color schemes into unique artistic works. She has also recently achieved her certification as a Hip Hop Kultural Specialist, a distinguishedcertification she received through KRS-One’s master class at the Temple of Hip Hop.

Additionally, she is an educator, actively involved in P.A.T.H (Preserving, Archiving & Teaching Hip-hop) as an Artist-In-Residence, where she teaches the Kids Graffiti Drawing Class at the Museum of Graffiti in Wynwood.

Dias was born in Bogotá, Colombia, but he spent his childhood in Miami, surrounded by a highly creative family. He became interested in graffiti during middle school in Kendall, where many of his friends were into breakdancing and tagging. He drew inspiration from the graffiti section in the back of Source magazine, dedicating time to studying and practicing his letters. At school, Dias and a few friends would often use markers to graffiti on classmates' backpacks. He later attended a college for graphic design, which broadened his artistic skills and enhanced his work as a graffiti artist.Renowned for his eye-catching 3D graffiti style, Dias is a member of the DAE “Doing All Elements” Crew and continually seeks to learn new techniques and engage in commissioned projects.
