I get a lot of requests on how I create the lather that I often showcase on my Instagram updates. There are basic things to keep in mind when bowl lathering and I wanted to share with you what I’ve found to work after much trial and error!

I recently learned of a new (or new to me) technique for getting a great lather while using little actual product and getting consistent results. “What the Froth?”

A market over saturated with artisans, incredible product variety, a potential new experience with each shave, but that doesn’t change the expense we often run into as shavers and collectors when buying new product and taking what is often a big risk. SEVERAL updates on this podcast, as many things have dropped or will be dropping soon from multiple Artisans! I did mention the Lupo drop, but have not seen that take place yet (or it did and they’ve sold out and removed it from their website) so sorry for the delay and possible misinformation on that! I also discuss my thought on reviewing or showcasing product, and being vocal about what you love. It’s easy to refrain from showcasing a shave setup, posting a video, engaging with the community of you feel you will insulted. But use and show what you love! That’s what this hobby is all about is doing what makes YOU feel great. Also, I know the audio is again a little quiet in this episode but I am working on a fix so that this will no longer be an issues, so stay tuned! For this episode I wanted to talk about the recent announcement from Peter at A&E about his new collaboration with Alexandria Fragrances. We have seen collabs before with artisans and niche perfuming houses, but other than Zoologist perhaps not one of this magnitude. I discuss why this is great for us as shavers and for the fragrance community.
