Today’s guest is Sattva Leading Teacher Annemarie Brown!
Annemarie has been living and teaching at the Sattva Yoga Academy for over 10 years, and in this episode, she gives us an introduction into Vedic astrology—known as Jyotish, or The Science of Light.
She shares her personal journey of discovering Jyotish and how she became deeply captivated by it. We explore how this ancient wisdom can support our evolution and growth, and how it offers powerful insights into deeper alignment and union. Annemarie describes Jyotish as the "missing puzzle piece" in the yogic journey—helping us move with greater awareness toward our highest potential.
We also talk about the remedies often recommended in a Jyotish reading, including the use of gemstones—tools that have been part of the yogic tradition for thousands of years.
Jyotish is a truly fascinating science rooted in the ancient Vedas, and Annemarie's way of sharing it is both inspiring and accessible.
I hope this conversation leaves you as inspired as I was.
With love,
Janina 🧡
