Whenever I pack my bag to go on the road for a show, I bring a camera. I don’t always take photos; I may only take one or two, but I always have one with me. It’s a way to preserve memories and moments in time and document this life that 17-year-old me had no idea was coming.

It’s easier to feel like you belong when you see someone who looks like you, coming from where you came from, doing the thing you want to do.
We should embrace everyone’s differences. Not just on a musical level but a human level. We all have our own stories and unique look at the world around us, and that informs everything we put into this culture. The music, the media, the raves. Drum and bass or not, we’re all people and the people are what make this culture what it is. Seek to understand and involve people from different backgrounds than you.
Be inclusive, not exclusive. Dubs are exclusive - The Rave should be inclusive.

We're back! It's been a minute and I missed you too. Here's a recap episode to bridge the gap between the last one. Loads of music, the hospitality/London summer, and another round of Mr. Winslow. Anywho, you know how it goes now. Headphones on, finish those dirty dishes in your sink (ahem...), and listen to Mr. Winslow tell you a story.

Answering a listener's question about how we can create original music while still fitting into a scene/sound/genre. IMO, there are a couple of steps to consider and I try to break them down in my usual round-about analogy-filled way. Shouts out to @audbl2 on Twitter for the question! Anywho, you know how it goes now. Headphones on, finish that puzzle that's been laying on your living room table (ahem...) and listen to Mr. Winslow tell you a story.

My latest EP titled "Thinking of You" just came out on Hospital Records Let's have a chat about how it came together, tracks that didn't make it, and Cats. As always, click the links in the show notes to listen, follow, and hear when new things come about. If you want to support me directly, Patreon is the best way :) Alright, stick in an earbud, grab some gloves and get ready to clean out that litterbox you've been ignoring while clangslow tells you a story.

I just got back from living in London for the last month and this episode is all about how it went. The heatwave, the madness that is Bristol ravers, being sandwiched on the tube, and much more. You know how it goes, hit play while I tell you the story of my historical quest to become a Londoner. Something like that...

In this episode, I catch up with my good friend Sasith aka IYRE. The man flying the flag for Sri Lankan Drum & Bass and who's really come into his own in the last year. We talk about how his life has been over the past year, how distance from the hub of Drum and bass fuels his hunger, and his plans for the future. As usual, grab a snack and a good seat and get stuck in...

Content is a bad word, right? Nah...and I'm going to tell you why. We as creative individuals learn early on that we have to wear many hats. I mean, when I started out, I never thought I'd be learning graphic design, video editing, marketing, etc... Whatever we choose, if it comes from an authentic place, we can't miss. As usual, get locked while I waffle in your ear for a little bit. You know how it goes 😅

Sometimes inspiration hits you like a sack of potatoes and sometimes you're left feeling like you'll never make again. Maybe what YOU SHOULD DO is actively look for inspiration within the things you're interested in. All it takes is a flick of a switch to create your best work yet... Any who, you know the drill, stick in an earbud, and do some laundry while winsfast tells you a story.
Q&A - What inspires you to create? Where do you find inspiration?

And we are back with another story. For the last two months, I've been AWOL on social media and you know what, I'm in a much better place for it. Maybe this story will help you consider your connection with SM and who knows, maybe you'll take a break and come out feeling like a million bucks. Or at least, a crisp tenner... You know the drill, stick in an earbud, and wash those week-old dishes while grandpap tells you a story.
Q&A - Have you tried taking a social media detox? If so, how did it go?

Nothing like a relaunch! In this episode, I chat about my last year as a Hospital Records artist and what has been going on behind the scenes. Such a surreal thing being at this point and I'm still like "is the real". You know the drill, stick in an earbud, and go get some chores done while I tell you a story.
Q&A - Any more Qs you have I didn't touch on about Hospital? We'll continue the discussion in a follow-up episode exclusively for subscribers and Patreon supporters. Later ✌🏿
