Continuing with my segment called #SportsTalkWithSayantan, this episode features veteran Sports Physiotherapist Shrikant Iyengar in an exclusive interaction with me.
Shrikant has been an established sports physiotherapist and has worked with elite members of the Indian Hockey team, Gymnastics, Shootings and other sports disciplines. In today's episode, we discuss about the effect of the Covid 19 pandemic on our Tokyo Olympics-bound athletes and all the national campers in general. Shrikant mentions all the important traits that makes an athlete get better recovery from the virus as opposed to the general public and he also gives a lowdown of the protocols an athlete goes through after being struck with the coronavirus as well as the quarantine protocols they need to go through.
