"I'm codependent with the pain of this world! Why?"
A short podcast on the idea of Surrender as a means to wholeness. Recorded this right after a lit therapy session where I had an AHA! moment.
Even though life seems to always involve some pain and suffering as well as joy and peace, we should distinguish the different kinds of suffering. If I shoot myself in the foot as a lifestyle habit, that is one kind of suffering. Another is the kind we feel as we navigate life while doing our best to avoid avoidable suffering. I've had a tendency to choose unconstructive behaviours throughout my life. And then I have to "heal" the damage I cause. Because of this, I've developed an addiction to "heal." Sometimes we just need to let go or stop being destructive in small and big ways, and that is the "healing."
Im codependent with the pain of this world!
I wouldn’t dare be joyful
thats selfish and shameful
To serve the world
I need to, as an empathic person, take on its hurt
and let shame determine
what I “should” do with my life
Im done “shoulding” on myself!!!
Maybe me following my joy
leads to selflessness!
Maybe I dont need to apologize for existing!
Imagine that!!
Im sacred to not be hurting
all the time!

A truly riveting conversation with Justin Leslie, a former Pfizer scientist turned whistleblower. Justin candidly shares his experience infiltrating the pharmaceutical giant, detailing his initial skepticism and the challenges he faced while uncovering and documenting disturbing truths.
We delve into the complexities of navigating a world awash in misinformation, fake news, and "conspiracy theories,” some of which are anything but theoretical. He also goes into great detail about the journalistic deceit and betrayal by the leader of Project Veritas, an alternative news organization that Justin hoped would share his shocking exposé with the world.
Justin's journey highlights the difficulty of discerning truth from deception and the importance of maintaining hope in the face of global corruption and manipulation. Ultimately, confronting the harsh reality that deeply held beliefs might be false, and that many global organizations are built on a foundation of greed and lies, is a crucial step towards personal and societal growth.

We also learn about the well-known musicians in his family that inspire his career, including bandleader and R&B impresario Johnny Otis and his uncle Shuggie Otis.
To conclude the chat, Niko shares the philosophies that inspire his art and life.

I really enjoyed this authentic convo with Santa Cruz, CA native, Heather Christie. She is a cutting-edge human, wife, mama, facilitator, teacher and artist that gives herself permission to explore wherever her artistic inspiration takes her. Daughter of Deadheads, she was inspired by the uplifting, trancey vibe that the psychedelic jam music and community imprinted on her. She has a genre-shifting attitude that makes her embodied, “Livetronica” brand and performances original, accesible and dynamic.
On the podcast, we dug into her big “why” behind art and we also cover the more recent development of moving out of the fear of having to either choose music or motherhood to her current, “both/and” mentality. Via her music, Möonbabe Records and Mind Body Music ventures, she is rewriting the “Womanual” of navigating music and motherhood at the same time.

Andrew Sealy, Yoga and His Love of Life... Injoy this very inspiring convo!
May you feel as uplifted as I did after hearing what this Acro-Yogi and entrepreneur had to share. Overall, he states that we’re living during urgent times, community connection is essential to well-being and that it is important to trust the passion of your heart and follow it. In this episode we discuss:
We conclude our chat with his Big Break story and how it led him to start living life from a place of “ATTRACTING” rather than “reaching for.” Life isn’t happening to you it can be happening for you!!

Hailing from Puerto Rico, Rabellion aka Tatiana Lamela-Rabell, shares how her love of music started from an early age. She was a natural poet and writer early on. It was when she heard Silvio Rodriguez’s music that she was inspired to become a musician too.
Initially called to be a drummer, she has enjoyed a fascinating artistic evolution throughout the years. She now plays several instruments, sings, produces and DJs too. Her film degree and her love of film affects her musical output in that her live sets can be described as, “cinematic musical journeys.”
Being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia led Rabellion to question much, including her L.A. lifestyle and musical goals. Her desire to heal also inspired her interest in alternative modalities like plant medicine ceremonies and contextualized music as not just entertainment but as Sound Healing. She has lived in many places including United States, Spain, and Perú, and her love of various cultures can be heard in her dynamic sound. She is currently on a global tour, sharing her music with many Ecstatic Dance communities, events and festivals. Tour dates found at her website below.
Inspiration from this chat came from a collaboration by Rabellion and Fllow on medicine-pop song, “Met Before.” Both artists will also be playing music at TRANSCENDENCE, an upcoming festival in Playa del Carmen, MX December 8-10.
