In Romans 6 we’ve heard Paul say that because of Christ’s death for us, we now have a new life of living for God. This week Romans 7 raises the question: What’s the place of God’s law in this new life? Do we live for God by trying really hard to obey to his law? What happens if we do try that?

Last week we heard the start of Romans 6, that we’re united with Christ, so we should consider ourselves dead to sin and alive to God. But what should we actually DO with our lives now? Do we just sit there trying really hard not to sin anymore? Sam will take us through the rest of Romans 6

We’ve heard so much in Romans 1-5 about how totally forigiving God is because Jesus died for our sins. As Philip takes us into Romans 6, the question is: with all this great forgiveness on offer, why wouldn’t we just keep sinning?

During school holidays we take a break from Romans to look at Raising & Reaching.Today Sam is talking about passing the gospel on to the next generation. It raises the question for all of us: How are we making sure the next generation is growing to know Jesus?

We continue our series on Paul’s letter to the church in Rome, all about the good news of Jesus.As we continue in chapter 5, we see just HOW CERTAIN is the HOPE we have in Jesus.As we see all the brokenness of this world, Paul will say the salvation of Jesus is even bigger!

But in Romans 5, we get a picture of the clear and certain hope that we have in Christ, anchored in our past justification and our future hope of glory.
