What would you pray if you were stuck in the middle of a fish?     As far as we know, there’s only one person that can answer that question from experience, and that’s Jonah.     A far more common question would be…   What would you pray if you felt abandoned by God?  Banished. Trapped. Terrified.     Those feelings also applied to Jonah while he was in the fish but many, many, many people also feel that way.  Life isn’t always sunshine and roses. When Judgement Day comes, there’s no other questions to be asked, no bribery that can be offered to the judge, there’s no way to get out of it.  When some people think about Judgement Day they can feel scared or anxious about it.  People back in Obadiah’s day felt the same way.  Even though they feared it, they were living God-less lives and seeming like they were getting away with their behavior.  Listen to todays message from Obadiah 15-17 and hear God tell them they weren’t getting away with it and Judgement Day was coming.  May you find peace knowing your sins wiped clean by your faith in Jesus alone!
