Kneedler ’74, this year's Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medal in Law recipient, praised his fellow federal workers and encouraged law students and lawyers to work for the public good. Kneedler has presented oral argument at the U.S. Supreme Court more than 150 times during his 46-year career in the Solicitor General’s Office. Dean Leslie Kendrick ’06 introduces Kneedler.
