A selection of prank calls done in the UK by Jellifish. Mostly to technical support phone lines, but also the odd general one too. Care is taken not to be too rude and emphasis is on confusion rather than annoyance.

UK Prank Calls
Managed web server confusion
Probably of greatest interest and amusement for those in the web hosting industry. This time, my managed web server is down. At least, it would be, if it actually existed. The trouble is, I think I have spoken to someone called, chav, or chaz or is it chip? My domain doesn't exist, but that doesn't stop me insisting it is down and losing me money: wareztunez.org (or is it wareztunez.org.uk or wardztumdz etc.) The support people are even more confused when the IP address I give is one of theirs but not one on their database, and I still insist that my domain is spelt with a 'd' for elephant and an 'n' for mother.

UK Prank Calls
Ecommerce hosting confusion
Confusion arises as I vaguely state I want an e-commerce solution I have 2 million users but 5 customers. I need big power (at least 5 power) I need to know if Positive Internet are actually good. It is serious business but the salesman gets very confused. This prank will particularly appeal to those in the web hosting industry who may well recognise these kinds of vague requirements.

Drive Thru Prank Call
A prank call to a popular drive-thru fast food restaurant in the UK. I am concerned my car will not fit, the nice chap goes to measure. But is it safe to drive through with a full tank of fuel? Will me window height match up with the drive-thru window?
