On another great episode of twos company, Ijah starts off about visualizing his parents as young adults and mentioning how they were once his age at a certain point in time. We then drift towards a conversation about reality TV and if talent even matters anymore when you can force your way to becoming a celebrity. Are we giving people their flowers when they did little to achieve success? We then discuss the idea of falling off, and the mental warfare that can come with disappearing from your craft, Ijah asks if the money can save you from potentially feeling a way. In our deep cut convo we talk about two types of people. One who cheats their way through the system or the one who does everything by the codes of life. We then read an interesting Reddit story to close off. With 9 episodes in the boys are getting sharper are we getting our respect.
The men come back after a short Hiatus, with a different set from what y’all are used to seeing. We first start off by mentioning where we have been at and what we have been up to, Jean talks about his trip to MTL and then we have conversations about going back to school at an older age. We then transition into the explosion of pop the Balloon on YouTube and ask if you can genuinely find love or are people going in for other reasons. With the death of Rich Homie Quan both of us have a conversation about rappers dying at a young age. We then transition into trust with both of us having different perspectives on it. With new vibes, different energy, new set the boys are definitely back at it again.
