A person is forgiven by Allah when others forgive them of their wrongs towards them by backbiting. The Quran is proof for us and perhaps for some proof against us. Yet repentance will set you free! Be intelligent and prevent your ego from harm and work for the hereafter. If you do not, then you will entertain false hopes about God, while your desires get the better of you.
