Over the past several months, I have been learning to get comfortable in the waiting process of whatever God may be doing. It has been interesting and revealing. Our journey through life is long and sometimes hard, confusing, and frustrating. Depending on our attitude, we can learn to enjoy the ups and downs, sudden turns, and even "mishaps" if we choose to trust God knows what He's doing at all times.
I hope you enjoy this episode and find some encouragement for where ever you are on your journey with Him.
On this episode, I share how some of my most painful memories are what have been the hidden obstacle keeping me from fully trusting God without my knowing it until He revealed it to me through a recent situation which is tied to those old wounds, guilt, and shame.

(Part 2)
If we don't forgive those who have hurt us, we lose a certain capacity to love. We can't enjoy the abundant life that God has for us if we are not choosing love no matter what we experience in this broken world. In today's episode, I read some thoughts on this topic from one of my favorite Christian authors, Francis Frangipane. I encourage you to check out his books found at Arrow Publications and I highly recommend his study "In Christ's Image Training" Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a free version any longer but you can find it here:

King David was a man known for pursuing God, yet there were times when he wrote about not sensing God with him or wondering why God wasn't answering his prayers. Every person who lives a life of faith and trusting God will go through times when they can relate to King David in this way. Sometimes we may need to stop and remember the last time that we sensed God in our life and remind ourselves of the goodness of God. Listen to this episode for more thoughts on why we struggle to sense God in our lives.
"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my right hand." Isaiah 41:10
"Where can I go from your Spirit, where can I flee from your presence?" Pslam 139:7
If you're like many people right now, you might be getting anxious about what you see happening in the world around you. Listen to this episode for some encouraging insight on adjusting your perspective so that you won't be a "blinky" light in the darkness around you. No matter what we each go through in this life, we know as children of God that our hope is NOT in the things of this world but in the promise of things to come. Let's make that our anchor and help others know they can have that hope too!
Most people who say they believe in God may still struggle with living a life of faith because they really don't TRUST God. The truth is that our interactions with humans can be a stumbling block to our fully trusting God. Listen to this episode as I explore some possibilities of why we don't trust God and why we should trust God no matter what.
Understanding that life was never meant to be "perfect" is important when we are learning to trust God in all things. The scripture says that we make our plans, but God directs our steps. This means that we need to trust him when things go differently than we expected or hoped. This is indeed hard when the suffering element is involved. Listen to this episode where I continue to share my recent experience in not liking what God is doing.
Ever been in a situation when you're believing God to answer your prayer, but He isn't...at least not the way YOU want him to. Listen to this podcast as I share my testimony on struggling to trust God when I couldn't understand why He wasn't doing what I was hoping for.
On this episode of Trusting God Through it All, I share how important forgiveness is whether we need to forgive others, ourselves, or God. I have come to realize that Love and Forgiveness are my "superpowers" and one of the secrets to health and well-being. Forgiveness is another choice that we need to make if we want to continue growing in the image of God. I hope you'll listen and be encouraged and inspired to live a life of love and forgiveness.
"Be kind to each other, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32
Most of us know intellectually that forgiveness is necessary especially in the area of relationships, and specifically marriage. But, often times when it is required of us, it's the hardest thing to do. Listen to today's podcast as my special guest shares her journey of forgiveness and the powerful way God moved in her heart and in her marriage. This episode is longer than most but worth listening to so pause and play as your schedule permits, you won't be disappointed.
