As our society evolves, so does our ego mentality. The way that we view importance differs by our preferred standards and principles. However, there still remains other consistencies of determining this despite societal changes.
Your philosophy of life determines the pattern of your behavior, which influences how others perceive you. Although expensive possessions and name brand clothing help to improve your sense of value, they don’t determine your sense of importance. The way that you operate in this life and how you participate in this society determines your overall sense of value.
While going through your personal spiritual journey you’ll receive a lot of suspicion from others naturally. They will be confused and suspicious because you may appear to rebel against traditional society in some way.
